This is a Shine Wax

It love that it is not sticky when I apply, makes my curls look shiny. Make sure to finish off with the Davines hairs spray.

I use a little dab of shine wax after styling my hair for final finish and shine. It has a soft texture, more like a cream, so I only use a little. My blonde hair tends to be a touch dry so this adds a luxurious glint of healthy, silky shine.

Love davines shine wax I have very frizzy, fine, hair and a lot of it. Usually I use gel to define the curls but then the next day, when I comb my hair it gets frizzy again so I have to wet my hair but it never looks as good as the first day. Now, I work in the shine wax while my hair is damp from root to end and shape it into curls using just my fingers. Then let it dry naturally or lightly blow dry. My hair soaks it in and becomes soft and silky. The next day I can comb my hair and touch up with a little more wax or a curling iron. I love the way it looks and the way it feels. It works for me because I have dry hair. If your hair tends to be oily, this isn’t for you.

Loved the idea of it... I love all Davine's products but found this one not as effective. I have thick hair thats greying, and has some wave to it. I need a product that both smooths and gives shine but doesn't leave my hair feeling like its coated, dull or straightened.
