This is a Relaxing Moisturizing Fluid

I had previously written a 2-star review for this product but since then, I made 3 changes that fully improved my experience, & now I wouldn’t change this product for any other! First, I switched from Momo conditioner to Oi conditioner. Momo is advertised as moisturizing, but oddly Oi leaves my hair MUCH more moisturized & -smooth-, which is what helps this straightening product glide on perfectly through the hair. Second, I’m using x3 more product than I was before (about 3 quarter-sized dollops, emulsified REALLY well between my palms). And third, I blow dry my hair first, before using the hot air brush to actually straighten the hair. 11/10 results, very pleased & will continue buying this.

I was torn between this one and the Love Hair Smoother, and I really wish I had chosen the other one. I have long, wavy hair, and I use about a quarter-sized amount. I don’t know what it is about this product, but it tangles my hair like crazy! It also makes it greasy, even when I’ve tried using smaller amounts. Lastly, it doesn’t really have the intended “relaxing” effect. I didn’t expect to have pin-straight hair from this kind of product, but after my blowout, my hair looks just as wavy as it does when using the cheap Pantene spray I had been using before, except that now it’s super tangled and it’ll be greasy within a day. I don’t buy Davines products as often as I’d love to, because they’re are a bit expensive for me right now, so I really regret wasting money on this and wish I had chosen the Love Hair Smoother instead. :(

This was supposed to smoothen my hair but all it did was to exacerbate the curls. They are untameable now, on the other hand it's all soft now. Did i read it wrong ?

Good for short hair I bought this product when I had long hair, but it didn't seem to provide any visible results. Over time, my naturally straight hair become even more frizzy and unruly. I had my hair cut to a bob, and I've been seeing better results. It leaves my hair very soft and straighter. Good to tame flyaways

Thick Wavy Haqir Solution I have a blunt, bob cut and this product keeps m ultra thick, wavy hair in line to show off the cut. Could not live without it!

Great for Taming Curly Hair My hair is naturally curly and gets really frizzy in humidity. I use this product to tame it or style my hair straight when I don't want to let it go natural. Can actually sleep in my hair for two nights and it still looks like I just styled it. Amazing!

Eh... Ok so when I first used this product I liked it. I always get super frizzy hair after I blow dry it and this made it less frizzy, but there was still some frizz. Plus, it has 0 protection against humidity. Though, I do love the "Davines Love Hair Smoother" It's like this but 5 times better. It leaves you with no frizz, like none at all and it stands pretty well against humidity. But back to this product, it's okay, but not worth the price.

Excellent for keeping hair straight. I have naturally wavy hair, but prefer to have it straight, and this product keeps it straight between shampoos.

Best smoothing product I have thick hair and I use this product when I blow dry my hair, then flat iron. My hair looks the best when I use this, flat and shiny no frizz. Thank you Davines!!

This product is amazing I have recently changed hair stylists and after spending her honeymoon in Italy my stylist came back to the states and only sells Davines. She set me up with a shampoo, conditioner and this smoothing product. I am blown away by how easily it makes my hair look amazing! No effort, no frizz --- just salon quality hair everytime I use it.

Great for guys- controlled but not tough or sticky I'm a guy with a classic haircut (side part, about 1-1.5 inches long on top, brushed/combed up and to the side away from my face) and this is the best hair gel I have found after trying many. I use about a nickel-sized amount when my hair is still damp and just run it through and then brush/comb it. It's not sticky or tough. Once it dries I run my fingers through to smooth it out and it doesn't look like I'm wearing product at all - just keeps my hair in place. Highly recommend. Very slight pleasant smell when you apply it but can't smell it during the day.
