This shampoo is the best for curly hair!! I love it!

I really enjoyed the scent it carries, I have low porosity curly hair, and I thought this product would work for me I was wrong. For some reason it dried out my hair, even after using the conditioner. I moved on to another Davines product to see if it works better.

While shampoo itself is pretty good for hair, it didn’t work well with my scalp, i’d get a buildup residue on day 2-3.

I want to love these products... but the overwhelming smell... I am very scent/smell sensitive. I ordered the LOVE shampoo and condition, This is Curl Moisturizing Mouse and OI All in One Milk. The products work well. My curls looked great. But... I cannot handle the strong chemical/floral scent.

I have type 3b curls and this shampoo is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The smell is subtle, but inviting and fresh. It suds up really nicely and gives my scalp a thorough clean without feeling too abrasive. My hair feels soft and new with a beautiful sheen to it. I would recommend this again and again!

I love this shampoo-- it smells amazing and leaves my fine 2-3 A curl type waves/curls looking lush, hydrated and voluminous!!! I use every 2-4 days, and so far, no concerns with my hair being weighed down from silicone buildup, which has been a concern cited in other people's comments.

I love this shampoo and conditioner! I have fine, wavy, colored treated hair and struggle to find products that won’t weigh it down. The combo of the Love shampoo and conditioner makes my hair feel amazing and lets the waves shine. This will be my forever combo!!

Makes my wavy hair quite a bit more on the ‘curly’ side, which I love! The ringlets are smooth and bouncy and my husband says my hair smells good :)))

The smell is strong, and I prefer much lighter scents/no scent. However, the shampoo lathers well. The price is a little high for my liking in relation to the products effectiveness on my hair.

Ironically, I LOVE this shampoo and it's conditioner counterpart. After having dreads for a few years, I wasn't sure what to use when I brushed out my hair. This product cleans my somewhat thin wavy hair very well. Other brands seemed to weigh my hair down and needed more frequent washing. Davine LOVE curl shampoo and conditioner are perfect for washing my hair every 4-5 days without looking greasy between.

I really like this shampoo. It’s a nice scent that’s not too strong nor too light. This shampoo cleanses my hair very well, which is something I’ve always struggled with having very thick hair, but I can go two days in between washing it. It leaves my hair feeling clean and healthy!

Such a wonderful scent! It’s very floral, but in a natural field-of-wild-flowers way, not the heavy floral of perfumes. The fragrance is legitimately intoxicating. I love catching the scent on my hair and sometimes I’ll catch a wife of it when I’m standing by my shower. So good! As far as performance, it was eh to me. It didn’t hurt my hair, but I didn’t see a difference the entire tub. I have long hair, past bra strap when straight and past shoulders when curly, and this bottle still has half of it left (the conditioner did not last as long.) My hair was already very healthy when I started using this so maybe more damaged hair would have a more visible difference. I’m not sure I’ll repurchase because it’s kind of expensive for just ok results. If I do, it will most definitely be due to the wonderful fragrance.

Seeing some other reviews… I have extremely sensitive skin and have eczema but this doesn’t give me any trouble! Everyone’s skin is different so I say try it and don’t base off reviews. This also makes my wavy-curls look AMAZING. I lost some curl as I got into my 20’s but this gives me ringlets again. Secondly, I personally love the scent and paired with the Oi Milk Spray I always get compliments of how great my hair smells. TRY IT!! My new go to :-)

I love my curly hair and have tried a myriad of products. I fell in love with this line at my hairdressers. My curls are back, hydrated, bouncy, healthy. I'm extremely happy with this product line. I also find that a little goes a long way--I use about 1/8 to 1/4 of product now. Will be trying the shampoo bars next!

I have wavy (and often frizzy hair). This is the only product where I have noticed an actual difference with my hair. I use the shampoo, conditioner, and the curl cream and it's the perfect combination. I have been using these products for 4 years and I don't plan to stop!

Calm scalp at last I have been searching for a schampo that doesn’t dry out my scalp or irritate it. I alternate this with the curl cleansing cream and it worked wonders. Note that everyone is different and can react or tolerate different things. I do note use styling products or color my hair so my hair have no speciell needs, but my scalp is very sensitive. This also worked a LOT better then shampo for sensitive scalp with irritated my scalp.

Heavy floral scent Stay far away from this product if you are even slightly skin or scent sensitive. I was given a sample to try from my salon but could not get as far as using it. This product has such a pungent floral scent it gave me a headache soon after opening the package. I've never come across a hair product so heavily perfumed.

Great for static-prevention in fine hair I have thin, fine, wavy hair that looks much fuller in humidity, but I am living in a desert. Most conditioners weigh my hair down, so using them to control the static just makes my hair limp, heavy, and oily looking. Anti-frizz products remove the "good" frizz I like that comes from humidity. I was recommended to try the Love Curl conditioner. It was okay, but I loved the scent, so decided to try the shampoo. With the shampoo, most of my static problems have resolved so I no longer need conditioner except in the middle of winter, and my hair looks even better. It is shiny, soft, and bouncy, but also static-free!

Awesome product I LOVE this stuff! Helps my oily roots. It definitely improved the volume of my hair. Smells wonderful. I am not one to "style" my hair. It is longer wash and wear. Very pleased as I got it as a sample from my mother to try. I am on my 3rd bottle. Satisfied customer.

Works great, smells great I love this shampoo. I have wavy, curly, bleach lightened hair and it gave me so much moisture and really defines my curls. I'm going to try the classic shampoo next time, though because it seems to be the people's favorite.

Pros and cons to everything but this is a con Note- I love what the davines company is doing, trying to be sustainable! I bought this because my hair lady recommended it. I have oily, curly, and long hair. I liked the packaging (paper around the shampoo & conditioner) that it came in cause save the turtles. But the shampoo and conditioner is not the best, first it is really expensive, second I wish the conditioner was in an actual bottle, I get what they were trying to do, but it would be easier to be in a bottle, third it smelled good, but strong, fourth is didn’t suds up that well, I felt like I had a lot more shampoo in one spot then the other no matter how much I tried to rub it around. I didn’t use this every time I washed my hair because I wanted to see what it was like compared to the other new shampoo & conditioner I was trying. For how much I paid, it didn’t wow me, I thought my hair would change, but it didn’t. It wasn’t softer or more healthy looking. Honestly I kinda wish I didn’t try it. I was actually looking forward to the samples to try different things from this company, but I never got samples, even though the website said I would, it’s not big of deal but I was looking forward to them. I will not be repurchasing. If you want to spend a lot of money on shampoo and conditioner, you do you, but I have finally found a shampoo that works and it is NOT this. Do NOT recommend.

terrible if you are prone to eczema I am eczema prone but haven't had a flare up for about five years. When I used this shampoo I got terrible eczema all over my jaw and neck. It went away as soon as soon as I stopped using it. Shame as it made my hair look fabulous - be great if they took out the allergens.

Nope. I have high porosity type 2c/3a curls and they hated this shampoo. It is incredibly drying. It is also insanely perfumed. I like the curl building serum but bummed I wasted $$ on this.

Says sulfate free but lathers Trying this line out but the shampoo lathers. It claims to be sulfate free but ingredients include SULFOLAURATE which is a cleaning agent. Figured I'd see if it lathers bc if it doesn't have sulfates then it wont lather. Bummed to say it lathered like crazy. Gonna try it out but bummed that isn't sulfate and sulfate related free.

Love! My hair is naturally wavy, fine and shoulder length. I’m always worried to use curl shampoos because they sometimes weight my hair down, but the Love Curl shampoo is so lightweight. Using the shampoo and conditioner my hair was not frizzy and had nice soft waves, I’ve been getting so many compliments and for the first time I love my natural hair!

Has transformed my hair! `I have naturally wavy, somewhat curly hair, that can be frizzy at times. My sister-in-law is a hair stylist and gave me the Love Curl Shampoo and Conditioner. My hair just falls into place! I use the shampoo and conditioner just a few times a week, in conjunction with the This is a Curl Building Serum, and it stays softly styled all day. No frizz, even on the most humid days. I love it so much!

WOW, finally After 11 years in the military I never really thought about my hair. When I got out I realized I do not know what to do with my hair. Five years later this arrived and I used it. After first wash I am shocked. My curls are curls and my hair feels amazing. I have been suffering from thinning, flat, rough, frizzy hair. I am at ease. My hair is soft, volumous, curls are in tact, hair is still light. I hope this feeling last a while. I heard of Davines from using it in my friends shower. I have tried everything.

Fav This is my favorite shampoo / conditioner I’ve ever used, I never have a bad hair day while using it. It saved my very curly & bleached blonde hair. For the first time in years it’s soft and pretty and doesn’t look dry ❤️❤️❤️

Great Shampoo I have been using this shampoo for about a year. I have wavy/curly frizzy hair and along with the Love curl conditioner - it calms the frizzes down. I love the smell - I have read some of the other reviews regarding the smell; I think it is a personal preference kind of thing. I recommend this shampoo and the conditioner to anyone who needs a little moisture for their curly locks!

LOVE LOVE I have been using this shampoo for several years. I love this shampoo. It is gentle on my hair and brings my waves to life. I don't spend a lot of time styling; just a wash and go gal and Davines' Love Shampoo helps me look good. I also love the smell of this shampoo (unlike other reviews).

I know what your thinking.. Your looking at this shampoo and thinking, "a shampoo that smells like LOVE shampoo and works better for my curly hair" WRONG! The smell is very manly. Think herbs and cedar. I'm not against herbily things either. I love Sunday Riley UFO oil smell. But this...yuck. I could look past the smell if it did anything for my curly hair. But no. So. Dry. I have not seen my hair this dry and frizzy since high school when I used PERT. I wash my hair in temperate water, I squished to condish, and I rinsed with cold water. I let my hair air dry, and it dries in about an hour. Honestly, the regular LOVE shampoo does hills and mountains better for my hair than this stuff. I did not put gel in my hair and use the curly girl method a la r/curlyhair. Because ain't nobody got time fo dat. I LOVE davines and I hate to leave a bad review, but I didn't want some poor college student wasting their money on this, thinking it was going to change their world. Back to the drawing board for this one Davines.

Fantastic shampoo for curls! Love is the best shampoo I've used for my curly hair! My hair is also color treated and has a tendency to be frizzy. Love leaves my hair smooth and also smells wonderful!

Curly hair controller LOVE shampoo and conditioner is amazing on my natural curls... no more dry breakage and my hair stays soft even thought I only wash it every other day....

Only product to touch my head For the longest time I tried every so called sensitive scalp product. Finally my stylist recommended this product and my scalp doesn't itch!!! It cleans well and rinses right through and I love how few ingredients there are.

Gentle on the hair I just got mine today and I really like it so far. It's gentle on the hair and washes without residue. I also used Love conditioner and "this is a curl building serum". Curls are under control even air dried.

Works Yes, I bought the volu first, and then I saw this love for curly hair..love it.. so creamy and makes my scalp feel great.. I am recovering from a Wen scalp...so glad I found this ..my salon in philly carries this line..glad I tried it

Great Shampoo I have wavy curls and after 2 weeks of use this product has been amazing at refreshing my curls and enhancing the health of my hair.
