The Davines Group has always been committed to creating products of the highest quality that meet rigorous ethical standards. For this reason, in line with its values, Davines Group does not test its products or the ingredients used in its formulations on animals, nor does it commission third parties to conduct such tests.
In 2017, Davines Group therefore suspended the registration of new products in China in order to avoid animal testing being carried out by local authorities during the product registration process, as required by law at the time.
Only in 2021 did the Group resume the importation of its products into China, following the introduction of the new Cosmetic Supervision and Administration Regulation (CSAR 2021, State Council Decree No. 727), which eliminated the requirement for animal testing during the registration process for certain product categories.
