Made my hair so soft and really birghtened my color

My dear friend who is a stylist did my hair for me and she used four different reds and she told me this product would help enhance each red differently and extend the time that I would have between colorings. She also told me to use this product over any other because she had done a training session with the CEO of the company and knew he was absolutely incredible as was this product! She is absolutely correct it is AMAZING!!!!! I have used it TWICE seriously just twice and it is incredible, it has made my reds so incredibly vibrant and gorgeous and has made each one of the different reds stand out in their own unique way and I can't get enough of it.

Love at first use! I can't believe how vibrant and shiny my hair is after just one use. I have been using Davines for years but had no idea you made a specific line for cool red tones (a million thanks!!). I use both the shampoo and conditioner. Cannot and will not live without.

I have been using this and the shampoo daily for about 2 weeks now and I love how healthy my hair feels. I was hoping for more of a red tint, I am naturally strawberry blonde, I however got more vibrant red on the red in my hair, and a pink for the blonde. I am still debating if I like it. I may go copper next.

I bought this to add a subtle hint of color to my very dark brown hair. I bought only the conditioner and not the red shampoo. It took about three uses to get it to the shade I liked, and then I started applying it every other time I wash my hair to maintain it (note: I wash my hair twice per week. If you have dark hair, I would suggest getting as much water out of your hair as possible before applying). It turned the natural highlights in my hair a very lovely shade of red - not at all pink like the actual color of the conditioner itself. It's like magic! The rest of my hair also has a very sheer red sheen to it in the light. It also smells really good imo, it has sort of an incense-like quality to it. Very nice, I would purchase again.

Dull to vibrant I adore this product. I have my hair professionally colored about every 8 weeks or so, and when my color starts to look a little humdrum, using this conditioner never fails to bring the zing back into my locks. My granddaughter (age 3) is also crazy about this conditioner. She thinks it is wonderful when I use it on her, as it turns her natural light blond hair a bright hot pink that fades into a beautiful cotton candy pink. After 3.5 or 4 weeks she is back to being a towhead, with no remaining trace of color or damage to be found. This is definitely one of my favorite hair products of all time.

No color difference I used this on my brown hair and I have not seen my difference in color at all. I’m dissatisfied with that but hair feels conditioned. I did buy this product for the color and did not get what I expected.

Give your res that Pop Love this product to brighten up my Red hair color! Love how it doesn't stain my scalp and still gives my hair that great feel that all Davines does!

Works great to revive reds This worked well reviving my warm, darker red hair. I didn't experience any staining on my scalp or in my tub. The only negative is the smell - it is a bit too perfumey smelling for me. Overall, though, it does a good job reviving color and conditioning my fine hair.

Works great for Pink too I have brown hair with pink balayage. Pink fades super quickly (like a couple of days quickly). My stylist sold me a pot of this conditioner with a little dye mixed in to make it more pink/purple than red. It works really well to put the color back in. Very pleased with my purchase.

Vibrant, Color Extending I use a Pravana red color on my hair every 3 weeks. As you know, red fades fast. I use cold water, wash every other day and all the other recommendations. I have to go 6 weeks between coloring this time because my colorist is out so I looked up a color depositing conditioner. I have skin allergies so after tons of reading I settled on Davines. I was pleasantly surprised! It works amazing. I have a lot of hair so I use a pretty big portion. I use it twice a week because I like my red vibrant. But beware...I have very red hair and it’s perfect, so if you’re not looking for that I’d probably go with their Copper conditioner. The smell is a little funky, but not a deal breaker for me. I will be able to extend my time between colors from 3 weeks to probably 5-6 weeks due to this product.

Not for Light Red Hair I've used the Alchemic - silver (purple) conditioner for months on my very light highlighted/ashy blonde hair with great results. I recently switched to coloring my hair a strawberry blonde, so purchased this red conditioner instead. On first use I followed the instructions and only left it on my hair for 5-6 minutes, but when I got out of the shower I realized that it had dyed my hair bright pink! Unfortunately there was no warning or information about this on the Davines website or the product label. I assumed that having used the purple conditioner safely that this would be ok for my hair as well. Sadly, that was not the case. It's actually kind of a fun color (if you're going for that kind of thing) but it was a huge shock and not what I thought this product would provide. Please Davines, update your website and product with a warning for those of us with light red hair!

Pros and Cons I have dyed red hair. I don't mean fire engine red. I mean a professional looking red that is high quality. Red fades. I thought this would be a great in between and read the reviews. Pros: 98% of my hair looks great and refreshed. I let it sit on 4 minutes, 1 minute short of the recommendation. Why? The hot pink color of the conditioner made me nervous. My coworkers thought I had my hair done and complimented the shine. Cons: 2% of my hair is now hot pink, exactly like the color in the jar and my coworkers thought I had added hot pink stripes (2 to be exact). Being that this is something I would never ever do, I am hoping this fades fast. Also, my hair was extremely tangled when wet (unusual for me) and it became tangled throughout the day (I have a lot of straight fine hair, but this isn't normal for me either). I doubt I will use this again. But I can't help but wonder - what does the copper look like?

Well Worth the Price! I have been using this for two years now to keep my dyed red hair vibrant between coloring. I can go far longer in between trips to the salon this is so effective. I highly recommend this.

Keep your red highlights lit! I've used this for several years to maintain my red highlights. It works fabulously and makes my hair soft and manageable.

Davines does it again! I wasnt sure whether to get Copper or this. I was unhappy with the brassy effects my hard water was having on my henna red hair. This was perfect. The color surprised me initially but I knew they lnew what they were doing. Once again, the scent! The scent! I love Ou for that reason and really had to push hard to click away fromit and get this instead. Its another Davines winner!

Love it. Now use the silver one once a week Super moisturizing, love it for my med-thick hair Copper tones in red never fade, it's always the pinky red pigment that fades so quick. Used it for years in my red hair. Now I'm blonde and use it for a pink tint sometimes!

not as expected Honestly love Davines and use several products. The conditioner when I opened the jar was a neon hot pink, no where near the red ordered. Due to its color I never even tried the product. it was not like the shampoo at all. So I feel its unfair to rate it due to the experience of one jar. The Alchemic Red Shampoo is awesome!

Keeps My Red Longer Ive only ever gotten complimented on my hair when its red, but its SO hard to keep and maintain. I usually have to color it every 3-4 week, but the alchemic red conditioner allows me to go almost 2 months or more in between colorings. It keeps my red bright and looking freshly colored!

Blonde to Pink Woohoo! I used this red conditioner to take my blonde hair to a fun pink! It gives instant bright color and I'm so impressed with the results! If you want to do your own pink coloring at home, or want to upkeep your pink, this is an awesome product!

Love it My hair is coarse and thick but this conditioner makes it soft and manageable. I am also a natural brunette with henna dyed hair. After using this, my hair has brighter and more diverse red tones.
