Darren, Salem, MA - I received a 'Nourishing Shampoo' sample from my salon (Bliss Salon, Marblehead, MA), and I loved the scent of it as soon as I used it! The fragrance is herbal, clean and fresh, which is really important to me. I quickly ordered a bottle online and have been using to for about two weeks, and I am already noticing the difference in the condition of my hair. I have dry, thick course hair, and I can already see that it is so much more smoother and healthy looking. Highly recommended to those who have dry and course hair.

This shampoo smells like my husband's underarm pit after he played an ice hockey game. It doesn't lather or suds up.

Does not lather or go a long way at all. The biggest problem is that it smells absolutely terrible. It literally smells like curry and armpits. The most disgusting smelling hair product I have ever purchased in my life. Genuinely so disappointed.

I live in a house on a well and my water has a lot of minerals in it. I color my hair and have been using your conditioner for a long time. Recently my scalp started getting really itchy and tight and my colorist suggested pairing the conditioner with your Nousishing shampoo. After one wash my scalp felt much better. So thanks and I highly recommend your products.

This is a picture of when my Mom and I, after we both became familiar with the wonderful world of Davines!!! Not long after the pandemic, we both needed some "hair rescue" and found a very nice lady to take care of us... Besides the great color and cut, she used Davines products and we both noticed the difference!! I still use your great products today and am thankful that we learned about Davines... My only complaint is it is hard to find local sources when I need to "replenish" my supplies!!! :-)

I was so excited when my shipment came in as I loved the Oi line but when I tried this shampoo, the smell just killed it! It smelt like BO (armpit funk) with a citrus twist… I just couldn’t get past the smell unfortunately and now it’s a waste.

This shampoo has been a GAME CHANGER. I have a very dry scalp that generates frizz like crazy. I used to have to put a ton of products in my hair to tame the frizz and bring out my curls. Now my curls come in on their own! I use a light mousse and the OI all in one product for styling. I also use the LOVE conditioner and use it as a leave in in the shower.

My feedback on this shampoo is directed at Davines marketing. Yall have a loose relationship with straight forward truth. 1. "Doesn't change the structure of the hair" cmon Davines, what does this even mean? Unless you're washing with peroxide or bleach, shampoos DON'T changes the structure of the hair....not even chelating shampoos. YOU ARE SELLING A MADE UP "BENEFIT". Unless of course you're implying the rest of your shampoos do alter the structure...? In that case we've got bigger problems. 2. Fragrance has long been a consistent customer complaint. Despite the rising awareness of artificial fragrance toxicity, your fragrance strategy doesnt appear to be going anywhere any time soon. So can you at LEAST provide a description of the fragrance? Even just a summary of the notes. 3. I dont get it. Davines products are undoubtedly effective quality products. Why not listen to your customer feedback and offer more 100% natural fragrance or fragrance free option? Truth is, your stuff is too expensive to be gambling on what kind of fragrance im going to get. $37.00 for a rash? No thanks Finally and most importantly.....It just doesnt make sense as why you employ misleading tactics....it TOTALLY UNDERMINES the credibility of your company. Can i trust this description? Well its unlikely.

I love this shampoo. I have a dry scalp, and my scalp is especially irritated after I have my roots dyed. This nourishes my scalp and calms it down. I use it all month to keep my scalp nice and hydrated and my hair looks amazing.

I bought this product hoping it would really help with hair and scalp health, but it actually creates a very dry itchy scalp with a lot of flaking every time I have tried to use it.

I love the products, they feel great and my hair looks really healthy. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that I really don't like the smell of the Nourishing shampoo. However, it makes my hair feel so good even after it has been processed through highlighting that I am willing to overlook that!

This stuff is truly on its own level. I moved to a dry climate from the east coast and my hair was suffering from the lack of humidity and hard water. Davines recommended I use this line, and I felt my hair improve instantly. I’ve been using it for about one month. I can’t wait to see how much healthier my hair is after using long term. I have curly hair, sometimes blow it out. My hair was just dry, dull, brittle, and breaking. It feels soft, supple, and healthier already. So grateful for this line!

Have been using this shampoo for years now and will never use another. I have color treated hair and a naturally pretty problematic scalp. This is the only shampoo that improves both the dryness from color and relieves my scalp issues (severe dryness, flaking, grease). Even other Davines shampoos irritate my scalp but not this. It’s magic. The nourishing mask/pak/conditioner is all great too. Thanks Davines!

Did not like the fragrance AT ALL of this shampoo. Threw bottle away after one use.

Great for chemically treated hair - not every wash but directly after seeing stylist is great. All their products are great, only thing I don’t like about davines is their shipping. Luxury brands should not be shipping with usps or dhl, should use FedEx or UPS.

I have been using Davines hair care for nearly 15 years. My hair is longer and healthier than ever before. The ingredients are pure, the company is conscious and the results show.

I have been a fan of davines products for a years, but this is the first time I have used their shampoo at home. It smells AMAZING and my wavy/fine hair comes out feeling fresh without getting dried out.

Honestly at first I was iffy about this product due to the smell. Yet I figured that first I needed to use the item then use my own shampoo to help with the smell. I could see the difference in my hair. There’s no split ends anymore: it does not fell as dry as before. I think it’s a great product even though the smell might be overwhelming it does the job and revitalize one’s hair. I believe that this product works and it depends on ones consistency.

This shampoo was my reason for ordering from Davines. My hairdresser uses it and I absolutely loved the smell and how it left my hair soft and with a subtle scent. Will most definitely keep using it!

I have been using this matching shampoo and conditioner for 6 months . It was my highlights right after a year of breakage and my hair has never been healthier. I have baby fine hair and this allows my scalp to not be itchy and my scalp to be hydrated not greasy with my ends also hydrated . My hair dresser has noticed my hair is growing like crazy and taking the bleach well and I don’t have to get cuts as often . The trick is to wash first then rinse and wash second time with a very small amount . I love it and can wash my hair less often. I wash every other day and the bottle lasted me 6 months with my shoulder length highlighted hair . Use a small amount and get the matching conditioner . I am not even halfway through that one it will easily last me a year !!! Love love love thanks for saving my hair !

I absolutely love Davines but this one is not it for me. My natural hair is 3C but I platinum bleach and do Brazilian straightening regularly so I need excellent products, and gladly I’m still able to have great long shiny hair. I’m not one that usually cares for scent but this one, not only is not enough moisturizing (my hair didn’t feel soft after washing as I usually do with another brand I use) BUT THE SMEELLLLLLL really disappointed me. Glad I had samples of it to test longer than a week before trying with a full bottle.

I have tried so many products and brands and none compare to this! My hair is fine, curly and oily but my scalp is dry and itchy. This product sorts all my issues out and by just leaving my hair to dry naturally my curl is beautiful and soft without any styling or added products! I like the smell too - its not fragrant like normal products but slightly masculine, almost like cardamon? I love it!

Fine, long hair that has been dry and brittle. After one wash I could immediately feel a difference! My hair was hydrated, full, and shiny. I’m on day 2 and my hair still looks fresh with minimal oil at my roots. I highly recommend this product if you want nourished and hydrated hair! (The conditioner paired with the shampoo is a dream!!!)

BEST shampoo to help my extremely dry fine hair. I have used other Davines shampoos but this was a NOTICEABLE positive effect in both looks and texture. I have long hair, fine hair that always looks fried at the ends even with a recent trim. I was actually considering a drastic cut but turned to this product as a last gasp effort. Whew! It LOOKED and FELT healthier after one use. I paired it with its matching conditioner and I am very happy with the results!!

I’ve used this shampoo for the past three winters to help with dandruff and dry scalp. It always works well. I just bought this winter of 2022 and the formula is different. The color has changed from a creamy yellow to opaque green. It has a scent that wasn’t there before either. The scent is offputting. It definitely doesn’t smell good but it’s not horrible like some of the other reviews suggest. I always use the oi milk to help with drying and I had no issues with lingering smell. I did like the previous formula better than this updated one. It still works well though.

I received a sample of this shampoo to try. Normally I use NouNou shampoo. This line has a thicker consistency, and does not lather as much as the others. It smells like honey! I have fine/thin hair past my shoulders. For the number of days I was able to get from a sample, it did a good job. I'm not sure if I will switch from the one I normally use, but I may try it again in the future.

The shampoo and the conditioner works fantastic, it leaves the hair fresh without drying. Especially the conditioner, works its magic. But the smell is TERRIBLE! It smells like a dusty room, and you can smell it after it is washed off. Very unpleasant smell.

This shampoo and conditioner did not work for me. I have long wavy hair my strands are fine but i have alot of it. It made my hair super frizzy and dry feeling even after using oi oil to try to smooth it. This was a waste of money for me:( I usually use the io line and should have just stuck with it.

I loved what it did for my hair but it smells like old man body odor so I’m going to try one of the other nature tech shampoos and conditioners and see if I like the scent. Otherwise it did improve my hair.

Very Healthy Hair! I am a natural redhead in my 50’s with no treatments added to my hair. I noticed more hair than usual falling out during washing and switched to this product after much research. After one month I am experiencing very little hair loss after washing and brushing. I suspect I am now just losing the normal amount that happens to everyone as our hair grows. My hair also feels much thicker and quite luxurious to the touch. I am also using the conditioner which I really love and will review as well.

Damage hair to long healthy silky hair! I have been using this line during the last 3 years, previously I had been trying for years to grow my hair but it was always so damaged that I had to cut it. After a few months I could see a difference but after using this for years now I have the healthiest hair, it grows so much it is now waist long, no split ends, no damage at all. I love these products and will keep using them.

I'm a new blonde This product has saved my hair! I recently became a platinum blonde. My hair felt like cotton. This product has changed my hair, it feels like hair and is full of shine and bounce, I would not go blonde without it.

Good for super damaged hair, not so much for regular dry hair The Nourishing line was too much for my regular dry hair. It took all the body out and my hair was weighed down. I assume it would be good for extra damaged hair. On the plus side I received samples of the OI shampoo and conditioner and loved them! My hair is supper soft and full of body and shine! I just ordered the OI and can’t wait to receive.

Itching feeling After I purchased this shampoo along with conditioner, it did not work for me. Each use I have had itchy feeling in my hair. Same for the conditioner as well. I will never buy their products again. There are better shampoos and conditioners out there less cheaper than theirs.

From Dry and Brittle to Healthy Shine and Softness! I have been using the Shampoo, Conditioner and Nourishing Pak for a month and the difference is amazing. The first wash with the shampoo produices NO suds but the second wash is amazing. I am guessing the first wash is flat due to the styling cream and oil. Love the products!

Great for Blondes I started with a blonde bayalage and the after the first appt my hair was dried out. I loved the color but leary about the damage. My stylist recommended this when I went in for my 2nd appt after I told her I loved the color but didn’t know if I should go back to dark to avoid damage. I am so happy she did as I get to love my color and have healthy hair.

From dry to soft with volume/body - highly recommended I've lived above 5000 feet in the high desert for about eight years. Plus, I am what is now referred to as a mature woman, so my body chemistry has changed. My hair was becoming quite dry, dull and with no volume/body. This shampoo coupled with the conditioner has given me back the hair that came naturally at one time. It's extremely effective with a tiny bit of product, but it's Davine's where you expect perfection, right? I highly recommend this product line.

Love this shampoo! This left my hair feeling clean and gave it a beautiful shine. I have long, bleach blonde hair that gets easily tangled and frizzy. This shampoo after one use has shown a huge difference in my hairs textures. It smells so good!

Neutral/Natural I've been using this for about a month, and couldn't really decide how to feel about it. It did weirdly make my hair feel stiff? Neither soft or oily, kind of hard to describe. It smells very neutral, which isn't bad, I just personally like something more fragrant (like the Momo series.) Overall I'll probably finish the bottle, but wouldn't buy more.

Love the product I love this shampoo. Im not a huge fan of the scent. Its very woodsy likeba pine forest. Thats the best I can describe it. But it is rather strong. I love how it makes my hair feel. 4 stars because I think the scent could be improved.

Best shampoo ever My stylist recommended this shampoo when I told her my hair was feeling brittle. I couldn't believe the difference it made! She told me it was like vitamins for my hair and once it felt more nourished I could use something else. Well I loved it too much to quit and my hair is healthier than ever. The best part is that without harsh cleansers, I actually feel the need to wash my hair less and it doesn't get greasy. I'm having the best hair of my life and it's because of this shampoo!

My new every day shampoo I've tried several other Davines shampoos which I also happen to like a lot but I LOVE this one! It smells very herbal and earthy which I happen to prefer over a more floral or sweeter fragrance. Also, like the other shampoos it doesn't take a lot to get a rich lather and leave my hair feeling clean and moisturized at the same time.
