I’ve been using Love Conditioner (along with Love Shampoo) for 8 years now and I can truly say my hair has never been healthier or happier. Not too long ago I received a misdirected shipment from a prestige competitor of yours. When contacted, they just told me to keep it. The shipment included 2 tubes of conditioner. Never having tried this brand of conditioner, I figured I’d give it a try — free, right? I can honestly say that there was no comparison. The product on my hair didn’t feel half as rich as Love Conditioner, it felt thin and flimsy and I never felt my hair looked as good and clean a couple days after washing as it still does with my Love Conditioner. I tried to get through a whole tube of the free stuff, but I just couldn’t. I opened my new container of Love and put the tube stuff in the wastebasket. My hair looks fantastic again and for longer! I’ll never waste my time trying anything else on my expensive color-treated, and sometimes unruly wavy hair!

My hairdresser recommended the shampoo and conditioner and gave me samples. I splurged on the very expensive duo. Both are great BUT the packaging of the conditioner is terrible. The lid will never close well in the shower and the product started to dry out. I ended up with purple blobs that would not rinse out of my hair, shower etc. Bottom line is the conditioner packaging is horrible, the price is crazy and the product is good. Not sure if I can buy this again.

They won’t post my review with only one start so I’m going to try out giving them 5 despite my review still being a 1. I’m extremely upset with my experience buying with Davines. I purchased several items as a gift for my friend. When they arrived, the conditioner had broken and was all over the other items. I messaged support who told me they would only replace the conditioner. I asked if they would replace the intact items if I sent those back but they said no. I couldn’t gift her items coated in conditioner. It doesn’t just wash off. It leaves a slimy layer of residue. I ended up having to pay to ship them back anyway and so I could get some of my money back. This is not what I expected purchasing from a more expensive hair care company.

The first and second tub I bought of this (old packaging, rectangular tub circa 2021 and 2022) were amazing - the product hydrated like no other conditioner, had beautiful slip to detangle my hair in the shower, dream come true for thick, wavy, coarse adjacent hair.
The third tub (new packaging, circular rub) arrived broken almost straight down the middle of the tub. Not the biggest deal, I simply put the product in a new container. However, the formula no longer has that slip to it and I have the hardest time detangling my hair in the shower with it now. It used to leave my hair feeling almost slimey in the shower and then soft and silky once it was rinsed out and air dried. It now feels dry, brittle, and more coarse :'( My hair is normally shiny and relatively smooth but after using this twice it looks dull and the ends feel scraggly.

I have enjoyed davines products in the past, but this is my first time ordering from the site and the shipping/packing experience was not great. Arrived with the flimsy plastic pot broken and product all over the box, and the rest dried up because it was exposed to air with the broken pot -- they do not seal or tape the lids of their items shut like most retailers do today, which is wild considering that they ship liquids. Their site also said to 'choose 4 free product samples' on checkout, but I only received 2. So, I'm hesitant to purchase online again as much as I enjoy the product formula itself.

I almost returned this before I even tried it. The packaging said it was for coarse or frizzy hair. I don't have either. When I go to a new hair dresser, they always say you have fine hair and a lot of it. My hair gets dry from blonde highlights and I sometimes get knots at the nape of my neck. But now, my hair is in great shape. My hair feels soft and looks smooth. I sometimes spray some OI Milk before I style it, but have noticed I need a lot less since using this product. I don't mind the packaging. I think if it was put into a bottle it would have to be watered down to be able to squeeze it out. It's very thick, so a little goes a long way. I'm so happy I tried it.

This is by far the best conditioner I've ever used. My hair is dry and coarse -- this stuff makes my hair shiny. Shiny! The first time in my life I've had shiny hair.
The reason I didn't give a five-star rating: The packaging is awful. Try opening it in the shower. You need a shelf and three hands. And as others mentioned, one drop is fatal. I'm tired of paying for my conditioner to be splattered all over the shower floor. PLEASE change the packaging.

First off I’m going start by saying that I never leave reviews for anything. But I absolutely LOVE this product and all davines products I’ve tried. I box died my hair dark for several years. A little over a year ago I started going to a salon getting a balayage, it was the longest process breaking through years of color. My hair has taken a toll and has become very damaged, dry and frizzy. I have tried everything. Amika the Kure, pureology strength cure, olaplex, redken all soft. With minimal to no results. I started using love shampoo, love conditioner , oi milk and oi oil. My hair is so smooth, less frizzy and has never felt better. So thankful I found davines products. I couldn’t recommend more.

Love this conditioner BUT like other reviewers have said, the packaging is NOT great. I didn’t even drop mine and somehow within the first week it ended up with a huge crack across the bottom where the plastic seam was. Not great— not really sure what to do with it at this point. Conditioner is super think so a little goes a long way. Would love it if Davines did something different with the packaging

I was using Olaplex for awhile and it did nothing for my hair. It still felt stiff and dry so when i went to the salon for a trim my stylist reccomended this line. I purchased the shampoo, conditioner, smoothing balm, and the Oi all over milk. My hair has NEVER smelled this good or been this soft. My hair before this literally felt like velcro and of course the trim helped out a lot but this stuff did magic. I’m so impressed, especially being that it costs about the same that olaplex does, AND you get way more product this is a no brainer.

The smell of the Love smoothing product line is very overwhelming. I got the shampoo, conditioner and the smoothing cream leave in. They're all extremely strong. It's very botanical and reminds me of cheap drug store beauty products and bath products. It completely overshadows whether or not the products work, all I can think about it "When will the smell go away and can I return this to my salon?!" Sorry. For such an expensive product, I expect so much better than this.

I was admittedly upset when I placed my first order to see how long it took to arrive. It was during the holidays, so understandable. As the weeks went by waiting, I got more upset. But Davines customer service was friendly and responsive about the issue.
Then, I got the products. I’ve been using Davines for a while now, but never the shampoo & conditioner (only the deep conditioners, like Quick Fix circle-which I love) TBH..one use of the Love s&c, and I had to sigh in pleasure and say out loud “Totally worth the wait!” It’s the best product I think has ever touched my hair outside of the salon. My hair is soft, shiny, and my waves are managed and not frizzy. Also, despite how conditioning it is, my hair can go 3 days without washing and without feeling greasy. Idc how long it takes to come…the product speaks for itself.

I like the product contents. It is my first time to use. However I could not remove the lid and had to cut an opening and unfortunately have to keep the open container in a plastic bag. Please explain how to take off the lid? I tried everything before cutting into it.

I have long, wavy hair that gets frizzy (ugh!). I tried the Love Shampoo and Conditioner for frizzy hair and was "in love" with these products! My hair felt soft, smooth and moisturized. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Love line of products and have been using these products for more than three years. As with all Davines products, the quality is superb, so a little goes a long way. Definitely worth the money (in my humble opinion). Give it a try, you will love it too! :)

I got a sample of this in my birch box subscription, which was odd because I have fine, straight hair. My main problem with my hair is that it is SUPER oily. I have never been able to use conditioner. But, I decided to try it. It is the first conditioner to not leave residue in my hair, and my oil has actually gotten under control after using this for just a week. I am so impressed.

I have dry, damaged, beyond frizzy hair (once any liquid touches my head or even the slightest humidity) but my hair stylist used this conditioner on my head, and it changed my hair, not even exaggerating. I had to buy it for myself. I've been using this conditioner for 3 months now, and Lord have Mercy, I love this conditioner. My wavy frizzy hair has been cooperating AND it's healthier!!! How can I not love this product?! Seriously. No joke, best conditioner I've ever used. Probably the only conditioner I'll ever use y'all. I'm multiracial, which means I'm just now figuring out how to care for my hair at age 28 because no one else had any clue -_-
I always tried to tame my waves or chemically straighten my hair but my salon finally helped me discover that I need to hydrate and enhance my waves!
Now my hair is shiny, soft, and wavy! It's on the poofier side but I'm okay with that now.
I use the Anti Dandruff Shampoo, Love Shampoo (both the white and purple), and mix NouNou and the purple Love Conditioner. Then after towel drying add the Curl Cream, Curl Serum, Oi Oil and hair spray!

I never write reviews - but I have to let people know that these products go above and beyond for anyone struggling with frizz and course hair texture. I have battled with terrible, wiry, dry hair texture for the past 5 years or so (my hair is super long, 2C THICK waves). I survived the WEN hair fiasco, the Deva Curl fiasco (do NOT use Deva Curl products bc they wreck your scalp and cause your hair to fall out). I have always been super disappointed with hair products geared towards curlies as they really weigh hair down, cause build up and unhealthy scalp environments. Davines LOVE products saved my hair. I have 0 scalp issues, and it’s like I have a whole new head of hair - my curls are defined, shiny, and SOFT! These products smell amazing, and they really work. I can’t thank Davines enough for creating this product - and I’m so grateful to my salon for introducing me to this line of products. Customer for LIFE! Thank you thank you thank you!

Great products, AWFUL packaging.
This conditioner does what it claims to do and I love it. However, the container is a nightmare. IF (big IF) it survives shipping, it will not survive a single drop in the shower. Since it is cumbersome to open especially when wet, dropping at some point is highly likely. I have wasted more money for so much of this product washing down the drain.

I love this stuff ! I have tried everything under the sun ! I do hair professional and I won’t use anything else on my hair . This makes my blonde hair like silk. My hair has not been this soft or shiny in so long ! Highly recommend. It smells so good and even though it is pricy for a small bottle a little bit goes a long way .

Lustrous hair after the FIRST USE!
I am completely SHOOK at this shampoo/conditioner duo! Just washed my hair this morning, and I am LOVING (ha!) my hair! I have used many high-end brands, most recently including Living Proof Perfect Hair Day and Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser's Oil, but none of them have managed to give me LUSTROUS hair like Davine's LOVE line. I don't know what ingredients are working the magic, but there's something special is this formula that works for my hair, leaving it hydrated (but not greasy or weighed down), silky and full of body. I have Caucasian hair, light brown, almost shoulder-length, thick and wavy. If I let my hair dry naturally or with a diffuser, I've got a mix of 2A/2B/2C waves/curls. But with the LOVE line, I blow dried with a round brush (and no styling product) and my hair is wonderful. I can't stop running my fingers through my hair, so I think that's a definite win. As others have mentioned, I don't like the tub for conditioner, but I'll live with it. Seems like a little goes a long way, and I rinse the conditioner out for about 15 seconds, not completely washing that silkiness out if that makes sense. My hair is so shiny and healthy - the right description is LUSTROUS!! LOVE IT! Thank you for making this!!

Thick delicious conditioner
I have wavy frizzy, not too thick or fine hair This conditioner is super thick, nourishing and luxurious. One of the few conditioners that really makes a difference. It’s so thick that I think it may be better for textured, thicker hair because I find it a little hard to completely rinse out of my hair compared to different shampoos. My mom has curly hair and loves davines products. I am more in the drugstore market but would always steal away her davines and use it when I was at home. This christmas my mom gave me a tub of this conditioner and it’s literally magic. I hope it lasts a decent while.

I absolutely loved this product for my curly hair, a lot less frizzy! I did notice my hair was a lot more tangled after using it. I also wish there was more in it as I was surprised to see I paid $32 for a bottle that won’t last me longer than a few weeks at most. Overall, I love it and will continue using it!

Worked the First Time

AMAZING CONDITIONER
This is my favorite splurge conditioner. First the smell is addicting. I love the LOVE product line. My hair is actually fine, but damaged, and this conditioner feels so good going in to my hair. The tangles melt away. My hair frizz disappears. I fell in love with this as a sample size and cant quit coming back. Now that being said, and I belong to a lot of product groups, the conditioners packaging really needs to change. I admit I like scooping it out, but 1. I travel and would never take this with me. It simply is not made for being anywhere but in one space. 2. I thought people were being unfair when they said one drop and its done. My current tub of product is cracked down the middle due to a breakage early upon its arrival. Everyone is saying the same thing. This is possibly the best product imaginable, but the packaging needs some help. I have found that you can get a 33.8 size now, and will order that, as soon as I can find it in stock somewhere, because I will absolutely use it as my daily, once I can get it. GREAT PRODUCT DAVINE!!!!

When I first got this I wasnt aware of just how concentrated this stuff is. You just scoop about one fingers worth & work it up a bit, then apply mostly at the ends.

I decided to try the birch box for $10 a month. And my first box included the 75ml shampoo with a 25ml conditioner sample pack, at first I was bummed I got hair products instead of makeup products, but I tried it out anyways, and all I can say is WOW!!!! After washing my hair with the shampoo, I used not even kidding like 3 dabs of conditioner and my hair was untangled immediatly and so so soft, it was like a magic trick happend! (LOL) I'm so used to having to use twice as much conditioner as shampoo but this little sample I got has changed my outlook! Not to mention, the next morning my hair had so much volume and waves I didn't even know my hair had. I am so impressed with this product I will be a lifelong customer!!! I can't wait to order full size products now!

I love this conditioner! I have used it for 5 years. The smell is AMAZING. It makes my long, straight, coarse hair feel softer. I love that it is thick enough that it comes in a container/tub instead of a squeeze bottle. I like being able to scoop it out and get just the exact amount I need. I have never had problems opening the packaging (there is a small piece of plastic you break off). And I think the lid makes a very tight seal when you close it properly.
I have also been trying to use products that have ingredients that aren't too toxic. When I put the ingredients into the cosmetics database, there is one ingredient rated a 6 (lower is better) and the rest are all a lower number. I have found no other salon brands that rate better than this.

My Love affair with Love Smoothing Conditioner
I am so thankful to the salon that introduced me to the Davines Product line, the Love Smoothing in particular. I use it every time I wash my hair. The experience from opening the earth friendly packaging and dipping into the luxurious rich conditioner is magnificent. Once you rub it between your hands and then onto your hair its nothing short of amazing. It feels so therapeutic on my color treated hair. I have long curly hair that is at least 40% gray. They way this conditioner leaves my hair is nothing short of miraculous. It has brought my dull hair back to life. Brilliant product... awful packaging
Davines makes the best products. The love conditioner definitely helps smoothe without leaving build up. It smells amazing. It makes my hair soft and shiny but the container is so fragile and its a huge square so if you drop it in the shower once it will basically flat open and you lose all your pricy product. Its also arrives pre cracked for me in the past.

The name says it all! I have searched, and searched, and searched for a conditioner that helps nourish, and rectangle my fine bleach blonde hair. My stylist who doesn't even carry this in her shop, recommended this. I have used it for about 6 months now, and I LOVE it, and so does my hair! Much less breakage. My hair is shiny. It doesn't weigh my hair down. My stylist even noticed my hair was easier to comb through. Please keep making this!

Lazy girl seeking beautiful curls found her match
I have awkward in between hair that some days wants to be curly, and some days wants to be wavy. This conditioner plus the Love shampoo and the curl building serum have allowed me to keep my lazy hair maintenance regime while giving me the beautiful curls that I want. I literally shower using the Love shampoo and conditioner, put a dab of the serum in there, and go to sleep. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair!

New favorite conditioner
This conditioner made my hair silky smooth while also gave it so much shine. I have dyed blonde hair and hydration is so important. I had a packaging problem when the item arrived and davines went above and beyond to correct it. I'm definitely a new loyal customer. I prefer this over aveda dry remedy.

I have a real issue with frizzy hair. The conditioner does a great job of keeping my hair smooth. But not limp or lifeless.
