LOVE CURL Revitalizer Revitalizing curl refreshing shampoo

This stuff made my hair feel so sticky after I applied it, like hairspray instead of a conditioning agent, and when it dried the hair felt dry and brittle like straw. I tried using it in combination with some spritzes of water as well to see if that helped but it did the same thing. The lengths of my hair became so dried out and waxy with residue that it started tangling and matting all over the place and I had to wash it again just to get this product off. This did the exact opposite of what it was supposed to do and I really hope I can get my money back!

I wanted to use this curl revitalizer, but the bottle was too flimsy to spray. The product just would run on my hand, not in my hair. Very disappointed, especially because of the price.

The bottle was broken and it was leaking. The sprayer does not spray effectively and so it's messy and sticky and creates clumps in the hair.

Seems to work pretty well! I dislike the smell though; wish it was more pleasant but it smells kind of acrid.

I love love love the product!!! The only reason I give it four stars is because the bottle leaks when I spray it so I had to put it in a different spray bottle.

I love this spray on curl spray! It holds my tight beach wave perm beautifully! The almond fragrance is nice too!

My stylist recommended this for my second day hair. She said to spritz it on my hair and it would rejuvenate my products from the day before without weighing down my hair. It does bring my curls back BUT it makes them super frizzy. I tried smoothing my hair after spritzing it and I've spritzed it on and left it alone but both end up with the same result: frizzy curls. It was disappointing.

The products smells and works wonderfully for my fine 3A hair, however the flimsy bottle makes it difficult to direct the spray stream and causes leaking that drops down my arm and the bottle, which dries into a sticky filmy residue on the side of the bottle. I hate feeling like I'm wasting a somewhat pricey product, and it makes it more messy than it needs to be.

Sticky! Bought this thinking it would help extend the life of my curls between washes and it just made a sticky mess! It felt like spraying hair spray all over, the frizz just stuck to other curls leaving my hair feeling dry and itchy the next day.

Disappointing Product I had high hopes for the Love Curl Revitalizer, as I adore the Love Curl Cream and had a great in-salon experience with the Love Curl Shampoo and Conditioner, but it did absolutely nothing for my hair. To be transparent, I have medium length (think mermaid- or beach-like) naturally wavy hair, which is fine at the root, but coarse midway to the ends. My hair typically responds to many curl or wave revitalizers, but it didn’t perk-up with this one. It is possible that others have chemicals or salt that assist in the activation or texturizing process, which are not present in this product. In all fairness, my disappointment with the Love Curl Revitalizer’s performance may be unwarranted, as it is possible that the product is just not the right fit for my hair. However, even with this consideration, the Love Curl Revitalizer has another disappointment - Packaging. As noted by other reviewers, the packaging of this product is quite difficult to reconcile - Especially for the price tag. And, while I appreciate and applaud Davines’ environmentally forward thinking, especially their focus on sustainability, the functionality of the Love Curl Revitalizer’s packaging is subpar, at best. I understand the reduction in unnecessary packaging and frills, but when it impacts the day to day functionality of the product and leads to waste and improper, a redesign is necessary. All things considered, I am a fan of other Davines products. The Love Curl Revitalizer was just not a winner for me.

Yes, the packing is too flimsy, but this product is *the best!* I have very thick, somewhat coarse medium-length hair with a lot of body. I use this product on dampened hair in between washes to revitalize and refresh my curls. A light spray goes a long way -- and as long as you don't use too much, it won't leave your hair sticky or weighted down. For my regular hair routine, I use this product in combination with the Love curl cream which I use on wet/damp hair after washing. I use my fingers to crunch my hair and shape the curls. This line of products leaves my hair soft and shiny. It also smells great. For me, this process works great for an effortless and beautiful style that looks just as good as if I'd used a curling iron to shape my curls piece by piece. But instead of that time-consuming process, this takes much less time and leaves my hair in great condition. Yes, the spray bottle is flimsy and is impossible to travel with because it leaks. But I have not found another product that is nearly as good, so I buy a cheaper product that has a better spray bottle from the drugstore just to throw out the cheaper product and put this one in there instead. I wish Davines would improve the packaging, but until they do, to me it's well worth the trouble. Highly recommend this product!

Saved my curls A dear friend gave me a gift of this spray, the curl shampoo, and the conditioner, as she knew I’d been down about hair breakage and sad curls. Alas, the combination of these products revived my hair with shiny, boing-y spirals. The scent is intoxicating, to boot! What a relief. So special and nice when a product actually does what it says it will do on the package.

Like the product, bad packaging I like this product, it's great to give your curls a boost in between shampoos. What I don't like is the bottle it comes in. It's very flimsy and collapses inwards when you spray so you have to unscrew the top and it will open up again. Very frustrating!!

Subpar packaging Honestly, I'm not sure if it works or not because most of the product drips down my arm instead of spraying onto my hair. I appreciate that the goal is to keep the packing eco friendly, but this spray bottle is unacceptable for a product in this price range. The product is OK but tends to leave my hair crunch. I prefer to mist my hair with water and crunch in a bit of the curly hair serum to refresh my curls. The serum is by far the best curly hair styling product; it works on its own and none of the others work for me.

Love a product that really works as described! Daily go-to along with the Love Curl Cream or on no-shampoo days, to refresh my hair. I love this spray and highly recommend !

Great product - hate the plastic bottle My stylist recently introduced me to this product. I like the product very much; it instantly revitalized my short curly hair. I gave it three stars because the plastic spray bottle it comes in is horrible. The plastic is extremely flemsy and cheap - when holding and pumping the product the bottle indents and never comes back to its shape. The product also leaks because the plastic is so flemsy and cheap. other than that I would've rated the product five stars. For the price of the product the bottle should be of better quality.
