This has been reformulated and it does not work anymore :( I've been using this for the last 10 years or so and it used to clean my hair and keep the oil at bay but not anymore. They removed sodium chloride, eugenol, gernaniol, linalool, cinnamal, citronellol and added sodium methyl isethionate, lauric acid, limonene and citral. Do not buy this if you require oil control. I will no longer purchase this product.

I loved this shampoo when I bought it before!! It cleaned my hair perfectly and had a darker color to it. This bottle I just purchased though, feels as though it’s a new formula. It feels it doesn’t clean my hair as well, it’s lighter in color and a little more watery in texture. Maybe I got a bad bottle? But, not what I expected after my first perfect bottle unfortunately.

I tried this shampoo for the very first time at a hair salon while on vacation in the Dominican Republic. From there on I ordered a bottle once I came home and noticed my hair felt and look healthier. I love this product and I highly recommended if you are dealing with itchy scalp/greasy hair .

I've struggled to find a shampoo that doesn't dry out my scalp and cause flaky, itchy discomfort. This is the first one I've found that's a very gentle cleanse. My scalp loves this shampoo. Although my hair does still get oily a day later (I generally have to wash my hair every day or every other day), *sigh* I'd recommend this for itchy, dry scalps instead of oily scalps. I do wish they'd sell it in a bigger size, as I have to use quite a bit of this shampoo to properly cleanse my entire head. So just be aware that you'll probably have to use a decent amount if you have thicker hair.

Definitely the best shampoo I’ve tried for an oily scalp, on my 2nd bottle right now. Does have a medicine type of smell but I actually love it. Have in mind that it’s a pretty small bottle but worth it.

Best formula for my oily scalp and dry ends
This is the first shampoo I’ve used that’s managed to control my oily roots and not dry out the ends of my hair. I use the product primarily on my scalp. My only concern is the scent. I have a strong sense of smell, and while the scent is pleasant at first, it’s pretty heavy- it’s a sweet flowery smell mixed with a cinnamon scent. I prefer that products have less scent because everyone has different preferences. It’s almost overwhelming to the point that I don’t want to use the product. Otherwise, it’s the most effective product I’ve used and I’ll confuse to use it.

I've definitely noticed a difference in my oil production with this shampoo! This used in tandem with their dry shampoo works great at controlling oil build up.

My daughter has psoriasis, and struggles with finding a shampoo that keeps her hair healthy as well as her scalp. The real issue is finding a shampoo that doesn't create build up over time. This shampoo has been great, and she's been using it for 2 months now.

My daughter has super oily hair (aah, puberty) and this shampoo works very well. It has a tea tree oil sort of scent, somewhat medicinal but in a good way :-) She still has to wash her hair at least every other day (dry shampoo in between) but it's effective throughout the day. Answered questions on behalf of my daughter.
