OI Shampoo

Tried this for the first time today. My hair feels wonderful but I have to honestly say I’m not a fan of the’ perfume smell. It’s a little too strong for me. I’ll stick to the Momo and use the OI milk and oil.

Love love love davines. I’ve been using the products over 10 years and haven’t found anything I like better.

Caused me triple the amount of hair loss that happened for the next few showers despite using it once. Luckily they refunded me, but it destroyed my hair.

I have been using the Oi product line since Covid times. I get my hair colored every 6 weeks and Baylage twice a year. The salon I go to doesn't use the Davines line, but my hairl stylist tells me my hair has in its best shape for the past 4 years. She tells me to continue with my Oi routine and do not change a thing! I wash my hair with Oi every 3-4 days and use the conditioner 1x weekly. A very little goes a long way with the shampoo and the conditioner and I have medium length hair; so the price point seems expensive at first, but if used as stated- you will use Oi for very a long time. I usually only have to purchase 1-2x yearly. I love this product line and will always purchase. People usually comment about healthy and lovely my hair looks/smells. The free samples they send along are a bonus as well! I hope this as helpful. Hair type- fine/thick/medium length/golden blonde.

Please remove lauric acid! This was my favorite shampoo for years but since you changed the formula I have acne all over my neck and back and can no longer use it :(

I've been using OI for years now. It is the only shampoo and conditioner that never builds up, and never disappoints. Some reviewers mention the screw-off cap of the shampoo. I also found this less than ideal, so I substitute a pop-open cap from one of my other brand products ... now all is perfect! I have no reason to ever stop using OI.

Although I love Davines products, please be aware that if you have an issue there is no customer service line to speak with someone if you have an issue. I ordered 2 advent calendar boxes, only 1 showed up. I emailed them 3 times now several pictures of labels and boxes showing how it was labeled with 2 but clearly could not fit 2 in the box it was delivered in. It’s been 4 days and no response or resolution. It was to be a Christmas gift so I cannot express how disappointing this is, and I’m out $169.

The bottles are not full though when delivered. Keep that in mind when purchasing.

I've been using the Davines OI line since 2019 and I don't think I will ever simply adore anything more than this, still keep repurchasing til date. This is highly hydrating, nourishing, cleans well and the smell has become a distinctive scent for me.

The bottle is a poor choice - if you do this style, please include a pump. Wasting a ton of product by having to pour it on to the hand

Favorite shampoo

Itdoes not weigh hair down, in addition to the shampoo,i used the hair butter. I love the fresh scent and silkiness of my hair!

I love the product!My hair is soft ,shiny and no more frizz.It is very concentrated so very little product is needed.I only wish the cap was different to make it more user friendly.

I love the product. My hair is shiny and healthy. My only complaint is the price point. The bottle is tiny and no where near enough product for the price. I will use this lovely shampoo sparingly and may not be able to justify future purchases.

Great product with great results! I have a lot of low porosity wavy hair and the results for this were great. The sent, however is…If you like the smell of your mothers calgon bubble bath from the 80s or is you’re really into the scent of summers eve this is you! If not, I would take the “amazing scent” reviews with a grain of salt.

Scent: I wasn’t as in love with the scent as most other reviewers. It’s just fine at best. Packaging: Didn’t even think of the screw top until I actually had to take it off in the shower which is such a pain in the ass. Definitely will be looking for a pump or lid that just snaps up and down. You could very easily pour half the bottle out if you’re in a hurry. Hair: It lathers well and my hair felt great after. I’m still not sure if it’s worth the price given my other two gripes but definitely a decent product overall.

Tried both the OI shampoo and conditioner. They work well and clean/nourish as you’d expect from a shampoo and conditioner. It gets 5 stars because it will make your hair smell amazing and not just right out of the shower but for multiple days. When I went to smell the product in the bottle I thought it was just okay but it somehow smells even better on your hair then in the container. Definitely give it a try if you like a more botanical/mature fragrance!

Please change the formula back to remove lauric acid :( this was my favorite shampoo for years because my skin is very sensitive so now that you changed the formula I have back acne and have to search for a new shampoo!

Absolutely love this shampoo. I’ve been using it for a year now and it makes my hair feel great. The price point is higher, but a little bit of product goes a long way & it lathers so well. I also don’t wash my hair as often as I did when using cheaper shampoos, so the bottle lasts a long time. The scent is unique, more earthy than sweet or fruity.

I recently started using Davines products and this one is definitely my favorite. You don’t need a lot of the product, which I love! Oi definitely has made my hair smoother and shinier. Highly recommend.

I absolutely LOVE this stuff. Not only is the smell amazing but it has made my hair healthy. After years of black box dye and then stripping it out and going light, my hair needed help. This stuff has been a miracle. And it helps that every time I was my hair my boyfriend tells me how much he loves the smell of my hair. I am now on a regular shipment ❤️

I’m a big fan of OI!!! I love the shampoo, conditioner, hair butter, all in one, oil. All these line help me a lot with the freeze and my hair looks super shiny!

Oi products have been my hair care brand for 5 years now. The shampoo and conditioner go a long way. My hair is less oily, which makes days between washes longer. Every time I was my hair it’s such a pamper moment. My hair is soft, shiny, manageable. I find that my hair can go long periods without needing a trim, as it’s healthier all around.

I was first turned on to OI shampoo at my salon. I could not get enough of the fabulous fragrance. My hair felt great, looked great and stayed looking that way 2 days after using it. I quickly bought all things OI and have been using it for 3 years. It is worth every penny!

The OI shampoo and conditioner are really on another level altogether. Never would have DARED to go three days. The texture and fragrance are amazing. Thank you!!!

My only complaint is how expensive this is *cries.* PLEASE put it in a better bottle so none of this expensive (yet wonderful) shampoo goes to waste.

This shampoo saved my scalp and my sanity! I had tried every shampoo under the sun and couldn’t find anything to balance my sensitive scalp and hydrate my somewhat dry, fine hair without weighing it down. This set is a GODSEND. It smells like what being wrapped up in a fresh blanket feels like. Like clean laundry and a hint of pipe smoke? It’s intoxicating. My hair is easily detangled straight out of the shower, and dries soft, shiny and bouncy! I am so thankful I found this when I did! Also, I found that the cap from a large dish soap bottle (the flip-top kind) fits on the shampoo bottle perfectly and makes it much easier to use! :)

OI Shampoo (and Conditioner) is incredible. The scent is wonderful and sticks around for days. The results after washing and conditioning with the OI products is like none other. I have tried many - Oribe, Kerastase, Amika - they're good but my hair responds best to Davines OI products. My hair always looks amazing. I receive so many compliments but the most rewarding compliment comes from the beautiful stylist I see regularly. If she approves it has to be good! Everyone should give the OI line a go at least once. Chances are they'll never look back.

I have used Kérastase for years but knew I needed more natural ingredients after a bout with Covid that left my hair dry and brittle . I did some research and settle on this line of shampoo and conditioners ! Love it ! My hair is bouncy , shiny and feels soft.

Having struggled with a dry scalp and lack luster hair, I was gifted some Oi shampoo and conditioner and game changer. Not only does it smell great but works likes a dream. My hair hasn't felt this soft and manageable since I was prob 8. Highly recommend this.

My sister left her travel sized OI products at my house because they wouldn't fit in her suitcase. I loved how my hair looked and felt with these products and have been using them ever since. I have fine, thin, naturally curly (frizzy) hair. The texture changed after 2 bouts of covid and I fought with it every day, especially with the humidity here in Florida. The OI products have worked great to tame the frizzies without weighing it down.

I received this and a few other Davines products as a gift and this is by far the one I flew through the fastest. It makes my hair feel super clean and soft/smooth but not in a way that feels like it took a bunch of chemicals to do so. While it's on the pricier side vs shampoos you can get at drugstores, I honestly don't think I can ever go back to those. Came here to restock!

I've been all over the map, looking for a shampoo that doesn't dry out my hair or make it look greasy and I've finally found it. The OI shampoo is a dream, it smells amazing and leaves my hair looking silky and smooth. I have thick wavy hair and this shampoo somehow manages to tame the mane. Truly, I can't recommend it enough.

Ever since I started going to my new stylist over a year ago, this is what she uses the entire line. I bought this and the conditioner. Love them both!! My hair never looked so healthy. My daughters say the same! Thank you

LOVE the entire OI line!!! Makes my hair soft and shiny and smells HEAVENLY - It sort of reminds me of a spicy baby powder. I also use the body wash and hand cream - wish they made a body spray SOOOO GOOD!!!

It didn’t live up to the rave reviews I read, especially when I received the bottle from the delivery and it was a 1/4 empty. When I order a shampoo for that price I expect the bottle to be full as pictured on the website! Contacted Customer Service and still no reply. Very disappointed!

I LOVE the products, just not impressed how long it takes to receive it after you order it. I could have went into a salon and bought it had I known it would take you this long to ship it. You all need to work on that or at least let us know it will take 3 1/2 weeks to receive the product. For that reason, I will no longer order directly form you.

I absolutely LOVED how the OI shampoo and conditioner made my hair look and feel. The shine is incredible and my hair is so soft. However, the smell is very strange! I really wanted to love it and get used to it, but I just couldn't. It's not that its a bad smell, it's just nothing I want my hair to smell like. I can't place it, but it's something more cleaning-product related than hair product related. I won't re-order for now and hope the smell is changed soon :-/

This makes my hair silky smooth. And it really has improved the overall shine of my hair . So glad I found this product. My whole family uses it now and we love it.

I read a great review about the Oi All in One Milk and bought it. I love it! It makes my hair feel so soft and the smell is crazy good. I love smelling my hair all day long. I needed more and that is when I saw that they made shampoo and conditioner so I bought those as well. I again am in love. The smell is the same - and so amazing!! I have blond highlighted fine hair. I feel that this shampoo gives me great volume and my hair feels and looks so healthy! I am so glad to have found this product line!

This is the best shampoo and conditioner and it smells amazing too. I’ve been using Oribe and R+CO for years and will never go back! I have straight, very fine hair but a lot of it and it’s usually a tangled mess after I wash it. I wash with this shampoo and conditioner, towel drive and then use the spray and it combs right out.

Best shampoo I have ever used! My hairdresser recommended the OI line to me and I'm so grateful that she did! WOW! I have always gotten out of the shower with so many tangles and had to sit there brushing though it all for a while. The first time I used the OI shampoo and conditioner, my hair felt like silk and was so easy to brush through. I love the smell also and it makes me feel like I just stepped out of the salon.

I LOVE the Oi Shampoo and Conditioner!!! My hairstylist uses this on me every time I get my hair cut and colored and I finally took the leap to buy it and I am SO glad I did!!! My hair not only smells great but looks great! It gives a nice shine to my hair and it looks a lot healthier since I started using it two weeks ago.

I tried several Davines hair masks over the course of the winter and they were awesome, so I told myself that when I ran out I would also order shampoo and conditioner. I took the product quiz and decided to try OI. It smells nice and it makes my hair oh so soft and wonderful! Next time I come back I may try out a different shampoo/conditioner and I also want to try out a leave-in conditioner.

I love the scent of the Oi products. The milk is a little too hydrating for my slightly oily fine hair. The shampoo is very nice as is the body wash. I fell in love with the scent and would love to see a body spray or other application just for the scent.

The most luxurious shampoo, and the smell, omg, it's amazing. It's strong, but I love it! I use all of the oi products. I have long fine, colored and bleached hair, that soaks all this goodness in. I don't understand people complaining about the price. If it's not in your price point, then don't buy it, stop complaining about it! Also, the packaging is eco-friendly, which I prefer. I'd rather my bottle be compostable and not made of hard plastic, but I guess others don't. I could rave about these products all day everyday. Thank you Davines!

I was using a drugstore shampoo for years that was ok but didn’t feel cleansing or moisturizing enough. I have thick, wavy hair that looked flat and dull when I was using a different brand. Since switching to OI shampoo, my hair is noticeably lighter and more voluminous, easier to manage, and softer. I love how clean and shiny my hair feels. The smell is strong and pretty overpowering in the shower, but it fades nicely after drying.

AMAZING product! I've been using the OI line (shampoo, conditioner and milk) for 1 week and I can already tell a big difference! My hair is lighter, brighter, and oooooh so moisturized! I took off a star because it's so crazy expensive .. I'm still going to buy again, just wish it was a bit more affordable.

I LOVE this shampoo. However, I don’t LOVE the price for the amount you get. If it weren’t overpriced, I would buy it more often. If it were at least $10 cheaper, I could justify that. But $40 for shampoo plus the same for conditioner? It isn’t magic. Yes, it smells nice. Yes, my hair feels soft. No, my hair doesn’t look any different. I only buy this when I want to splurge.

Used to use verb ghost line which was great for moisturizing hair without weighing down, but I stopped after realizing some of their products are made in Israel which I’m boycotting. But omg this is so much better than the verb ghost anyways, not only is it moisturizing without weighing hair down or making it feel too heavy and greasy, but it also makes my hair shiny and smooth. Love the smell too, people describe it as powdery/floral which are not the type of scents I typically like, so don’t let the scent description scare you! It smells really good, salon-like and fancy to me lol. The only thing is that the packaging is really inconvenient and they didn’t even have foil to cover the conditioner so when I ordered it, the conditioner opened in transit and was everywhere when I opened the package. But even with all the inconvenient packaging, it’s still easily worth it to me because that’s how good the shampoo and conditioner is.

Before the purchase of the shampoo, my hair at the touch was severely damaged and frizzy. Now it makes me happy to say my hair feels so much softer and healthier at a great extent, and results showed up fairly quickly. Would 10/10 recommend and say best shampoo so far!

I have been using this shampoo for years. I love it and my hairdresser says it makes my grey hair look wonderful.

This is my splurge and well worth it. I love the smell and it does not weigh down my hair. In the past I have occasionally battled mild dandruff but with this shampoo I have none.

The shampoo is pretty good but it's too expensive for someone on disability with limited income. Honestly, Theorie shampoo and conditions are very good as well and are a quarter of the price of this at TJMaxx. Facebook lures some in with promises. Also the packaging is very cheap. Cheap bottle no pump. Unable to control amount you use. What good is concentrated when you can't control it. I am 1/2 through bottle in About 2 1/2 weeks. I only was my hair every 2nd to third day. There is 9 oz in the bottle whereas most shampoos continue over 100 ounces, some close to 200 oz. I will not buy or recommend due to this. Lower your price by halo and then I will buy. Highway robbery.

I have tried so many high end brand shampoo and conditioners and I just keep coming back to the OI set... leaves my hair feeling SUPER soft and silky and has helped me repair my damaged ends. I highly recommend this to anyone that damaged hair along with the conditioner, milk and serum!!

Like a few others, I love that my hair is shiny and feels really nice after using this shampoo and conditioner. But there is something about the fragrance. It is just a little too smelly. I don't hate it, its just too strong. And has a lingering baby powder essence to it. I think I read in one of the reviews a quote from the Mean Girls movie "you smell like a baby prostitute" and it feels accurate :D The only other thing I will note, is I feel like it doesn't protect my colour very well. My hair shines and is beautifully clean and soft and bouncy, but my balayage of both highlight and low light looks diminished a little.

I love what this shampoo does for my hair, but the fragrance is way too strong. It gave me a headache.

I really like Oi. I first tried it at the salon when I got my balayage touched up. It smelled so good I had to ask what it was so I could buy it. I’ve been using it at home now for about a week. A little shampoo goes a long way. It makes my hair very, very smooth and healthy looking. The only thing I’m not 100% happy about is some days I feel like it makes my hair….too clean feeling? You know when you try to do it or put it up and it’s just so slippery that it doesn’t work well? Sometimes I get that with Oi. Not always though. The smell is nice and stays for about a day or so. Will likely repurchase.

Oi shampoo has magically solved all my long suffered hair issues. And this isn't the first high end shampoo I have tried, nor even the first Davines. Something about the Oi is exactly what my hair had been needing. No more bad hair days.

Wow, I was late to the party. I had heard of Davines a few years ago but I had never tried them. I was missing out!! I LOVE the OI shampoo (&conditioner). I'll be keeping it stocked forever. It smells amazing, and truly makes my hair better in every way. I included a photo of my hair straightened as well as worn naturally (in sunglasses) because before the OI, I wouldn't have been caught dead outside my home with natural hair. This took my natural hair from its usual frizzy, kinky, stuck-up-in-every-direction mess and made it smooth and sleek and slightly wavy when I let it air dry down with no styling! And it really does smell amazing.

Oven been using oi for years now and love it. I’ve used the entire range of oi products, my faves being this shampoo, the milk and oil. I wash my hair every 4 or so days and this shampoo is consistently the best. I do mix my routine up on occasion, but this shampoo is my forever staple. It reliably nourishes, cleans and doesn’t over-dry my hair or scalp. Plus I am obsessed with the scent! PLEASE MAKE THIS INTO A SCENT! The lotion and body wash don’t linger as long as a perfume or perfume oil would!

My Hair Staple! I have been using Oi Shampoo, Conditioner, and All in One Milk for years. A few months ago I did feel the shampoo was weighing my hair down a bit and took a break. Trying other shampoos led to breakage and I think some protein overload (I kept thinking I needed more repair style shampoos due to bleaching and heat styling). I just started using Oi again and wonder why I ever stopped. My hair is back to feeling and looking healthy, shiny, and moisturized. While this shampoo doesn’t give me much volume, my hair feels it’s best with this shampoo than any other. For reference my hair is long, wavy, fine (but lots of it), and I bleach/balayage my naturally light brown hair. I let it air dry often, but do blow dry about once a week and use curling iron or wand about 4 days a week.

The first appearance is disappointing I purchases the OI shampoo, OI conditioner and the Oi oil. Both shampoo and oil are not full and there's also no pretection foil on the bottles, it's like they've been opened and repackaged. For such a price, the first look is disappointing and lacks professionalism.

Amazing! As a first time customer, I was looking for shampoo to take care of fine medium length hair. Drug store shampoos were drying my hair and making it so fragile. This shampoo has been amazing! It smells great and makes my hair feel so soft and clean. It brings volume to my roots and my hair does not feel greasy for about 2-3 days. I love pairing this shampoo with the conditioner. You do not need a lot of product to get the job done, so it is worth it.

High hopes I was so excited to purchase the shampoo and conditioner after a friend of mine used it on me while styling my hair one day, but after a week I now have more flakes than I’ve ever had in my life. The smell is great but leaves my hair feeling weighed down and has caused dandruff that’s never been there before. $75 down the drain :(

Soft hair without weighing it down I have baby fine, color treated hair. This shampoo locks in the color, doesn’t weigh down my hair while making it soft and smooth. Paired with the OI milk, my hair has body and holds the style after blow drying. Love it!

Davines for life I've been using Davines products for about 8 years now, every now and then I try other brands and always come back to Davines. It's the best. Shout-out to the amazing customer service, I've had an issue with the delivery over the holidays and they resolved it quickly. Not many companies care about their customers like Davines does. Customer for life.

Scam These are great products but I think this website is a scam. I ordered and was charged but my products never came. They have no way to contact them by email or phone. I’m hoping this isn’t a scam bc I bought an entire set, but it’s very weird you can’t contact them.

Incredible shampoo for my super long hair My hair is very long (below my hips) and struggle to find products that I like for more than 2 washes. This product is consistently amazing every time I use it. I was gifted the travel size before I knew the brand, and was SHOCKED when it worked better than anything I owned. I use the whole travel size and invested in a full size shampoo and conditioner set. It lathers extremely well, it feels clean the instant I run my fingers through to the end, and it leaves my hair shiny and weightless feeling. The smell is very unique so I can understand how some people might not enjoy it—but I personally LOVE it. It smells like French rose candies to me.

Amazing! Even for thick, curly hair! I’ve used the Davines Love line for nearly three years now, that was the line “meant” for my hair type (very thick, curly hair). I got a sample of the OI shampoo and conditioner last time I ordered and I’m so obsessed I’m now switching to this line. The Love line is amazing but this one made my hair instantly soft, shiny and tamed frizz. Completely obsessed, and a firm believer that Davines is worth every penny.

Great shampoo/HORRIBLE fragrance The shampoo really made my fine dry hair so silky and manageable but the smell is SOOOO strong I instantly got a headache. The fragrance overpowers all the positives for this shampoo. It smells like a really strong men's cologne. Can you please make a fragrance free version?

We need a large size! I love this shampoo so much that I go through it too fast! Makes my thin, dyed hair so silky and new (without the an oily side effect!). I alternate shampoos just to make it last longer. Would love a larger size!

Stop the frizz My mom has always battled with frizzy hair. She received an OI sample of shampoo and absolutely raves about it. Not only did OI stop her hair from frizzing, it gave her confidence and relief. Her hair Was soft, looked healthy, and shined too! I will definitely be purchasing a full bottle of OI shampoo for my mom.

Amazing for Type 4C Hair!! After receiving a sample of this product I became curious about how it would react with my type 4C hair. It was AMAZING and I quickly went to purchase more of both the shampoo and conditioner. It's a little pricy so I don't purchase as frequently as I'd like but it is definitely worth the money. Please try if you have coarse or kinky hair!
