CALMING Shampoo

Good product I don’t shampoo but once a week so only had one experience with the shampoo. It did not alleviate the itching instantly, but it has been a week and my scalp is overall less itchy. I would like to rate the product again after a few more uses.

I love this! I have fine hair that is maybe 20% greying and my scalp gets sensitized easily with products and hard water. I don’t use alot of products as a result. This makes my hair so soft and my scalp feels amazing!! I do let it sit on my scalp per the instructions and that works. I also shampoo twice. I use this with the Dede conditioner and it works well for me. My hair length is just past my collarbones. It cleans really well for me and as a result my roots have volume. Very pleased!

I was recommended this as replacement to the Purifying shampoo, which was the only shampoo that ever helped my dandruff but has been discontinued. This one is a total waste of money. Smells nice, but doesn't do anything to improve my scalp health. Please bring back the purifying shampoo!

I really like this shampoo. I was so excited excited to try it! It feels refreshing and soothing. The smell is exactly what I was hoping for.

This shampoo is wonderful! I use it when my hair gets colored. All hair color makes my scalp itch, when my stylist uses this it helps with the itch

Not what I was hoping for, but not terrible either. I love Davines and have used them for 5 years or so, and finally decided to try this. It smells divine, lathers really well, and didn’t strip my hair… but it also didn’t feel very clean either. I usually wash my hair two or three times a week and I felt like I would need to wash every other day or every day if I used this shampoo. I even tried double shampooing before conditioning and it didn’t make a difference. I did use the entire bottle to see if it would change over time, and it didn’t. I might repurchase this in the summer when I wash my hair more frequently, but overall I definitely prefer the Oi shampoo.

This is lovely, I was prescribed a shampoo by my dermatologist but needed another for a second wash. I’ve struggled with a dry and itchy scalp for a long time and this is the only shampoo I’ve found that works well but also doesn’t smell horrible. My hair feels clean without being stripped and my scalp has been looking better with each wash. Already recommended it to a friend!

It REALLY calms! I was diagnosed, by my family doctor, with eczema of the scalp. I found out about your product through a salon, ordered it and began using it. I absolutely love it!! It calms my scalp, I no longer have sores on my neck and scalp, the itching is gone, and it smells so good!! FYI, I also use the Calming Serum as well.I have fine hair and it in no way affects the styling of my hair. If you have any type of dermatitis on your scalp use this, it really works!!

Great for Sensitive Scalp I have a very sensitive/itchy scalp and this works great! Doesn't hurt that it smells fantastic as well.

Great for sensitive skin I am diagnosed with contact dermatitis from personal care products. Davines' Calming is one of the few shampoos that has not made my skin break out in hives or leave itchy red patches of skin. I wish Davines would make matching calming conditioner, though.

Answered prayer Not only is it so soothing to my scalp The itching has stopped, no more sores No stripped feeling of the hair. I can’t tell you just how many dermatologist prescribed shampoos I have use that didn’t work! Thankful for this product. I have undiagnosed skin problems as well. I wash my skin in this too and it is a miracle for it as well. Relaxing scent. I know this product will receive praise from many who suffer .

Smells Awesome ERMAHGAWD! This shampoo is nice and smells divine.

Awesome My scalp psoriasis was worse than it ever had been and since using this and the treatment spray its almost 100% gone, I am telling my Dermatologist next week about it!

WONDERFUL! This is another one of my Davines favorites just because it smells soooo good and makes my hair feel clean and soft, but never stripped. If you are stressed but do not have time for a deep soak in the tub, this is a pretty good substitute. I do both.

Calms my scalp So many good things about this shampoo! It calms my sensitive scalp, it smells so yummy, it doesnt dry my hair out, doesnt make my scalp oily, seriously I love this shampoo.

Only cure for my dandruff Over the years I had tried all sorts of solutions: Head and Shoulders, T-Gel, apple cider vinegar, tea tree oil, etc. This shampoo has been the only one to stop all of the itching and flaking! I would be devastated if this was ever phased out!

It's a life-saver As the other reviewer mentioned, it calms the scalp without drying. Any time my scalp starts to get irritated I will use this and it calms right down. I try to make it a point to use it at least once every few weeks to get ahead of any irritation that might want to pop up. Also, I normally am not a huge fan of lavender scents but Davines did a great job with this - it's not that fake lavender smell and also not too overwhelming.

Calms scalp without drying it My scalp is oily and prone to buildup, but most clarifying shampoos strip my hair and ruin my color. This cleanses and calms my scalp better than any other shampoo without drying it out (although I don't use this past mid-shaft to save product). Smells great & not overpowering. Only con is a bottle is pricey.
