Sorta works ok. Thought for the price it would be better. The smell to my husband is of musky cigarettes and to me it’s an old vanilla scent. Gets the oil out of my hair but will not be repurchasing.

True to the reviews this product smells delicious though not overpowering and sprays on nicely without leaving residue. Gave a 4/5 because I’m new to using dry shampoo and have little to compare it to but happy with the product so far and have been skipping shampoo for 1-2 days in a row. I find I apply it one day and the effects carry over into the second day. No icky residue left behind.

I was so excited to get this as a free gift from my Davines stylist. Unfortunately, it was a massive let down when compared to every other Davines product I’ve used. I shook the canister well, followed the directions (I am not new to using dry shampoo) and it seemed (on my hair) like nothing was spraying out of the can; however I could see it was indeed spraying something. It left my hair with a horribly tacky texture, almost stuck together and the smell was extremely off putting. In fact, I hesitated to spray the other side of my head because the scent was like strawberry yogurt and metal. Maybe I had a bad can of it? I didn’t smell anything fresh or “cake-like” as mentioned in other reviews. Sadly, I tossed it into the trash can and got into the shower.

This is definitely the best dry shampoo I’ve tried. A little goes a long way. I’ve never been disappointed in the performance of a Davines product. However, I do agree the scent is overpowering. But that won’t stop me from using it.

I’ve tried many dry shampoos. Most leave residue, smell bad, and don’t do a great job. This is the opposite of all of that! It has definitely extended my time between washings and I’m grateful for all the time saved!

My stylist used this on my hair and I love it! Scent and all! I have used several dry shampoos but this one leaves my hair feeling soft with some bounce. The greasiness is gone and the smell is sweet like cake. I love it!

I've been using Davines products for over a decade, and I constantly get compliments on my hair. I've never used a dry shampoo, so this product is new to me. There definitely is no residue, and it adds some volume even if I use no other styling aids or products, which is great, because my long, thick hair tends to be a bit weighty on the second day. My only complaint is the scent. Most Davines products have a fairly light scent, and some are amazing (Oi is my favorite), but this is just too much. If I use enough to really get into the roots, it's ALL I can smell for the rest of the day.
