OI Body Wash Hydrating Shower Gel

I purchased the OI shampoo, conditioner, body wash and also a tin of the hair shine. The products smell wonderful. The shampoo, however, feels like a hair stripping product. It has no foam and you have to use a lot of it. The body wash is just like the shampoo - they actually seem like the same product but they are not. It does not foam much so it doesn’t go a long way. The worst thing about the body wash is the size of the bottle and the price. The bottle really needs to be at least 16.9 ounces as it takes quite a bit to wash an entire body especially when it doesn’t foam. And the pricing needs to be around the same. You can buy Salt and Stone - larger bottles, Lush, Molton Brown in a standard large quantity for the same price OI is an awesome smelling product but needs some improvements to make it a repeat or continuous purchase

As a 27-year-old searching for that perfect body wash, I had high hopes. First off, the lather is fantastic! It’s thicker than I expected, and my skin felt incredibly soft afterward—like wrapping myself in a cozy cloud. Seriously, I could get used to this level of softness! Now, here’s where things get tricky: the scent. It has this odd chemically tang to it that was a bit of a letdown. I was hoping for something that smelled like a fancy salon product, but instead, it felt more like a science experiment in my shower. The scent didn’t last long either, which was a bummer since I wanted to feel all luxurious and pampered. But hey, at least there was no weird film left on my skin! I stepped out feeling clean and soft, even if my nose was a bit confused. So, if you’re after a body wash that gives you amazing softness but leaves you wanting more from the scent department, this one’s worth a try! Just don’t expect to walk out smelling like a day at the spa.

I absolutely love the body wash, but I wish it came in a larger size or larger refill sizes were sold. It would be so much more sustainable than buying several of these little bottles to fill the soap dispenser I have.

My skin feels so soft and I love carrying the fragrance of the shampoo onto my skin.

My name is Kate & I have purchased a dozen times over 2 years and never had a problem!!! On March 1st order # US512731 was purchased! Confirmed with DHL which ships to my home along with UPS & Fed Ex!!! (I can provide proof of past shipments from DHL & FED EX) The second you change to USPS my address changes as My entire town does NOT have mailboxes... Requiring EVERY resident to have a Post Office Box! I am not sure why you ship DHL passing off to USPS now but for 2 months my shipment has been sent back due to insufficient shipping... actually 2 or 3 times... I have many emails explaining the updated shipping and your company got it wrong again!!! To be so incompetent and not even offer compensation or a discount of some sort (NOT one of those TINY sample packages, you seem to think are such a generous gift). Im laughing at your lack of compensation for your incompetent blunders! Other companies discount, say they are sorry and make it up to keep your business. Truly the management should be looking at the Blunders of Amy Arendse.... The other incompetence is when you receive my package back I should be notified of said mistake... Truly dishonest of your company to not notify me of that update (I was traveling ie Death in the Family... So missed that it was NOT delivered for the 3rd time! Love the product, love the smell but completely agree with other reviewers about it needing a pump. So much waste. Would definitely buy it again if they fixed the dispensing mechanism.

The aroma is my favorite besides the heart of glass line. However I bought some from my salon to use at home and I think I'm allergic to it. My face is dry and puffy, I've felt like I've had the flue for two weeks. I am a senior stylist, I worked with Aveda products for years and we switched to Davines recently. Any thoughts on what ingredient it could be??

OI body wash is an amazing product - lather and smell are both wonderful. Too bad it comes in such a small size and with a bottle cap that needs to be unscrewed.

I’ve been using the body wash everyday for years and I absolutely love it. It’s hydrating and the scent is wonderful. Worth every penny a little goes a long way. One of my favorite Davines products.

My hair stylist shared a sample with me and I immediately knew I needed to add this to my daily shower routine. One smell is all it took, totally "davine". I love the smell! I would like a different bottle top, the current package pours out too much. I transferred my body wash into a travel size container to get a smaller size squirt out.

Love the body wash! It makes my skin soft and I love the scent. It’s like a spa treat in my own shower. I do wish the body butter was back as well.

The Oi body wash is amazing- same fantastic smell, a little goes a long way, luxurious lather, which results in soft, smooth skin that’s not dried out and smells heavenly! I only wish it wasn’t so pricey.

The smell! I do not Really care about the benefits, it just smells so extremely good. And the smell stays on your skin for the entire day :)
