SOLU Shampoo

This shampoo has a horrible horrible smell to it! It smells like chemicals, highly DO NOT recommend!!!!

My order from Davines arrived spilled in the packaging, when I messaged to see if I could return or get a discount, no one ever responded. They have terrible customer service.

I have been using this product for the past 2 years as a monthly clarifier for my hair. Its a great product! It gets my scalp feeling very clean and free from buildup as I have 3b/3c curly hair. I was introduced to this product from my hairstylist and I still continue to purchase! Definitely recommend for curly heads

Wow!! I had no idea how much I needed to be using a clarifying shampoo. I found this one of a “best of” list and bought a travel size to test it out. First wash with and my hair looks and feels amazing compared to the state it was in prior. Every time I shampooed and conditioned, my hair would look and feel dirty when it dried. One wash with this shampoo and my hair is SO soft, clean and shiny, and has really nice natural volume to it (which is a big deal to me because my hair is naturally fine and usually looks pretty lifeless). I’m so glad I gave this a try. I will absolutely be keeping it in my weekly rotation. Now I need to know what other davine products I should be using!!

I love this shampoo SO MUCH. I have low-porosity curly hair and I can get a lot of buildup. Every shampoo I used before made my hair feel super brittle and rough after using it and I would only use conditioner sometimes because of that but this shampoo literally feels like I used conditioner. It leaves my hair feeling super soft and silky and my scalp clear. It also smells SO GOOD. Anyway, I swear by it and highly recommend!

Not so sure this is clarifying. I had been using DEDE and testing out other Davines shampoos. My hair was feeling coated and greasy. This did not remove any of that feeling. The first few times I used it things went well. After using Davines shampoos and conditioners it stopped working so well. Bummer too because I invested in a liter.

This product works really well at clarifying the hair from residue. The travel size is perfect to use along side an everyday shampoo like DeDe. I think that using this clarifying shampoo every two weeks has made my hair look and feel healthier. This product is a new staple in my hair care routine. I highly recommend!

The water at my current location leaves my hair feeling scummy and it never felt fully clean until I started using this shampoo. I didn’t really think too much of it until I ran out and went back to a shampoo I had on hand and my hair is limp and not feeling fully clean again. Excited to get this back in my routine, I’ve tried many Davines shampoos and this one seems to work best with my current water conditions.

I wanted hair products that did not have alot of additives that you see with most products. I had moved and I called my former stylist and she recommended Davine's products. Initially, I used the Dede shampoo and conditioner, but when I realized that Davines also has a clarifying shampoo, I picked that up as well. All of the products are really good and keep my hair is great shape. Thank you, Davines!!

I really like this shampoo. I use it weekly for my hair because I also have extensions and use it to get any build up off. My hair feels nice and clean but not dry. Really nice!

The best clarifying shampoo out there. I have long, finer straight hair and have forever had issues with oily roots. I’ve tried so many different brands of higher end shampoos and none have solved my problem like Solu. Total game changer! I can now wash 2-3 times a week (with some dry shampoo in between) versus 7 days like I use too. Paired with their Oi conditioner on my roots it’s amazing!

My 12 year old daughter has an oily scalp and oily hair. She has frequent acne on her forehead and even under her hairline around her temples. I read that this product was a great clarifying shampoo and decided to try it to see if it could remove some oil from her hair. After just 1 use, we could see a difference. Her hair wasn't as oily, but better yet, her acne immediately started to calm down. Within 3 days it was dried up all along her hair line. After about 2 weeks of use, it also seems to be preventing pimples from other places on her face. We're amazed to see how much this shampoo is helping. I also love that it doesn't have any harmful ingredients. What a find!

Best clarifying shampoo for blond straight fine hair This shampoo is amazing for removing minerals from my hair. I read Chelseas review and I couldn't be more opposite on the hair spectrum. I do not use any products besides shampoo and conditioner. I have the straighest finest blond hair. For some reason my hair absorbs the minerals in the water which makes it feel and look like I have left the conditioner in. My hair always looks like I haven't washed it for a few weeks. I used this shampoo one time and OMG my hair is amazing. I had been using cider vinegar but it was left dry and yucky. This shampoo is amazing. My salon gave me a small sample which lasted for 4 washes which I then went to buy a bottle of it. It's not cheap. She recommended I use it 2x a month. I am going to experiment and see what works best. I would like to use it everyday but it's a bit pricey.

Best clarifying shampoo for black relaxed hair and extensions I have very damaged dry over processed frizzy relaxed African American hair and I am currently wearing 265 grams of straight hand tied extensions with a balayage so yeah there's a lot going on. After months of using very moisturizing shampoo, masks and oily my hair and extensions felt "gummy" yet I denied that I had product build up because I thought that this would be like every other clarifying shampoo I had ever tried : extremely drying. I was so wrong. This shampoo revived my hair extensions made them super clean so they can absorb the Oi Butter mask properly which makes them so soft. For my relaxed hair it did the same, cleaned it really well without drying. I was also going to tone/purple shampoo my hair because my highlights were brassy but after using SOLU it pulled all the minerals out of my hair and my highlights returned to their natural medium brown state. No brass. This is the best clarifying shampoo ever!

Never have seen my hair so shiny! This shampoo is lightweight which I love, smells fresh, and is easy to work with. I wasn't sure how I would like this product at first, but after seeing just how shiny and healthy it has made my hair look I am impressed! This is definitely the first shampoo that has made me notice a positive difference in my hair in just a few washes

Best shampoo that actually cleanses! For me, this has been the best Davines shampoo for my hair type. Solu shampoo has Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate as its surfactant and it’s the best ingredient that cleans the scalp well without being a sulfate. A clean scalp equals healthy hair. Davines is the best hair care brand on the market and nothing comes close!

Best shampoo for oily roots! I was given this shampoo as a gift and it's now my favourite. It leaves my hair so clean and smooth, not to mention it smells divine. I will be using only this shampoo from now on.

gave life to my hair I, unfortunately, used a shampoo that had heavy paraben waxes in it, and my hair would tangle so easily and would take forever to dry. After using this shampoo once a week, my hair felt softer, tangled less often, and dried much quicker and with less frizz! Highly reccommend!

Love it. I use it once a week in place of my regular shampoo and it works amazingly. Love it.

Great clarifying shampoo! Solu is my go to for when my hair needs a deep cleanse. My hair tends to get buildup on it easily, and this is the best solution that I have found. It leaves my hair so soft!
