Step 1: Line it up

To figure out the best spot for your pony, align it with where your cheekbones are–on a diagonal–and pull it back to that point.

Step 2: Smooth it

Then use Davines This is an Invisible No Gas Spray and a bristle brush to sleek back your hair and smooth all around it

Step 3: Secure it

For a high, swingy pony, secure your hair with two elastics.

Step 4: Braid and wrap it

Take a small section from underneath the ponytail, braid it, and then just wrap it around the ponytail, and secure it with a couple of pins to hide your elastics.

Step 5: Add volume

Starting from the middle, take sections of your ponytail and tease at the root, making your way to the front, before working Davines This is a Dry Texturizerthrough the length of the pony.

Step 6: Hold it in place

Finish your pony by spraying your hands with This is an Invisible No Gas Spray and smooth out any little baby hairs and flyaways.
