It’s a warm summer evening and three friends are meeting in a restaurant garden. Each has a new hair look that highlights the nuance of how different curls and waves breathe, a relaxed look that can evolve from day to night with ease. Created by Davines Hair Art Director Tom Connell, these summer looks are effortlessly elegant and perfect for a day out with friends that last beyond sunset, with built in hold thanks to our More Inside styling line.
Natural defined curl
DAY
This look creates well-defined curls with applications of More Inside Curl Gel Oil plus More Inside Oil Non Oil for a naturally conditioned look. Dried gently with hands and a diffuser to give a beautiful combination of free-flowing texture with hidden panels of definition, it is finished with More Inside Shimmering Mist for a high-shine look.
EVENING
To move from day to evening, simply apply a boost of More Inside Shimmering Mist. This adds shine while allowing the hair to naturally contract, causing those defined panels to disappear and the hair to return to a more naturally textured look.
Natural wave
DAY
Built on a foundation of More Inside Primer to help the style last longer, this look is all about enhancing natural movement. The addition of More Inside Sea Salt Spray works in harmony with the hair, creating a bespoke look that is led by your individual wave pattern.
EVENING
At the end of the day, enhance the definition of the natural waves by adding another light coating of More Inside Sea Salt Spray to the ends of the hair, for a tousled full-bodied beach look with a matte finish.
Relaxed S-wave
DAY
A combination of More Inside Primer and More Inside Invisible Serum creates an undone texture and natural definition with a satin-matte finish that lasts. Styled with tongs to gently define the curl, the look is finished with More Inside Finishing Spray for a slept-in look that’s tousled but relaxed.
EVENING
As evening falls, another application of More Inside Dry Wax Finishing Spray to create waves closer to the root, adding shine and definition, resulting in a less polished, more ‘second day’ feel.
