Holy cow, my hair did not like this product! At my roots my hair did feel squeaky clean and fresh. But about midcway down to the roots, my hair looked f r i e d after using it twice. At first I thought maybe I didn't use enough heat protection, but then I tried subbing out the one new thing added to my routine (this shampoo) and skipping it once my hair already feels back to normal. Maybe I'll try using it once a month, but I don't know if the benefits will be as apparent.
I have wavy, not super thick hair prone to frizz but not greasy.

I used this shampoo on my as recommended on wet hair. I then washed it out, applied it a second time (mostly on my roots and a bit into my ends), and left it for a few minutes before washing it out again. The scent smells like a mix of citrus and clove in my opinion which was very awakening and truly left my hair feeling clean without feeling stripped. My scalp did not feel tingly,irritated, or dry and it left a light citrus scent in my hair. The packaging also made it very easy to use even without a pump; there was no need to squeeze the bottle for product.

The consistency is a bit thinner than normal but still foams up the same with enough lathering. Nothings better than finding a product that my curls agree with! Especially a product like this! Usually I can’t use anything to stripping to my hair because it leaves my curls entirely way too dry. This shampoo has a thinner texture than I expected, which I don’t mind. The first thing I noticed was the scent, which I find invigorating and the perfect way to start my day. It’s not super strong, but it does smell like there are some essential oils in there, so if you’re sensitive to oils or fragrance, just be aware. I love it, though, and find it helps me wake up. It leaves my scalp with a slight tingle, partly due to the shampoo, and partly due to the scalp massage. It leaves my scalp feeling stimulated, and the tingling sensation isn’t uncomfortable.
I also don’t feel dry after using this shampoo. I feel clean without being stripped. This shampoo is one of my favorite haircare finds this year.

This shampoo left my hair looking and feeling unbelievably shiny! The bottle is on the smaller side but the product suds up nicely. It does have a very strong scent (cinnamony?), which I personally liked.

This shampoo smells soooo freakin good! I try to wash my hair only once per week. I used this and loved the consistency, how it lathered up, and how refreshed it made my hair feel afterwards. I think using this product will be part of my regular hair care routine.
