ENERGIZING Overnight Serum Nighttime treatment inspired by chronobiology

I have been using Davines Energizing Overnight Serum for a couple weeks now, and these are my thoughts! First of all, I personally love the smell of the serum. It’s almost like an earthy, all natural, essential oil like smell, if I had to compare it to something. I have 2 dogs, so just to be safe, I wore my silk bonnet after putting the serum on my scalp at nighttime. That way it doesn’t transfer onto my pillow and my dogs couldn’t lick my scalp. When it comes to the product and how it worked, I wasn’t a huge fan. I say this because in the directions it says to apply the serum at night, do not wash your hair, and style like normal the next morning. The next morning. My hair was pretty greasy. Which was honestly a fear of mine when I read that you aren’t supposed to wash your hair after using it. Mind you, I had washed my hair that same morning before applying the serum come nighttime. So it’s not like I had unwashed greasy hair. It was definitely the serum. I applied it to not only my scalp, but also my ends as well. It worked out well on my ends! I love that you can still smell it in your hair the next day. It definitely made my ends softer and shiny but not oily. I personally wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase this serum, as it’s counterproductive to have to wash my hair the next morning when you shouldn’t have to according to the directions. ** complimentary from davines**

This overnight serum was gifted by Davines and I'm loving it so far! I've been dealing with a lot of hair loss this year, so I started using it immediately. My hair is very fine, broken, and rather dry with roots that get oily quickly. I was afraid this serum would exaggerate the oiliness of my roots, but it's not very greasy and hasn't made it any worse. I've only gotten to use it for about a week now, so I'm excited to see the more long term results. However, I have noticed my hair looking and feeling better than it normally does when I wake up! I feel like I'm already seeing less hair in the drain after a shower. Also, I think the scent is fantastic! It actually calms me and helps me fall asleep!

I received this overnight serum complimentary from Davines, but I do truly enjoy it! I have fine, curly hair and a very dry scalp. I love how lightweight this serum feels! I have tried other scalp serums but I find they tend to be too much for my fine hair but Davines is the perfect consistency to make my scalp feel hydrated without feeling weighed down! I have not used it long enough to speak to its claims about helping with density but I do plan to continue to use it and can report back after a few months!

I got this as a gift for an honest review. I have been using this religiously since 4 days now and have been loving it so far. I’m obsessed with this hair oil! I haven’t used it more than one night, but the fact that I could put a hair oil on overnight and not feel greasy the next morning is huge for how thin my hair is.
