PURIFYING Shampoo

I’ve struggled with flakes/dandruff for a good amount of my 20’s and was never able to find a good anti-dandruff product. I’ve tried a lot of products from drugstore to high-end, but nothing really got rid of my dandruff 100%. (Even the highly-rated T-gel didn’t cut it). After using this anti-dandruff shampoo TWICE, I saw my flakes reduce significantly!!! It’s an amazing product that I will keep using and hope they never discontinue this product. I love the smell and it lathers quite nicely for me, despite what other reviews have been saying. Highly recommend for dandruff sufferers like me~ 10/10

I’m not exactly sure how the science behind this stuff works, but my only regret is that I didn’t buy it sooner. I’ve struggled my entire adult life with a flakey scalp - it’s caused me pain and embarrassment for years and nothing has ever worked to resolve it. My stylist suggested this product but I was hesitant to purchase until I finally got so sick of dealing with the pain and shame that this became my last attempt before tying a medicated shampoo. Truly, after ONE use my flakiness reduced so significantly I couldn’t believe it. After two uses, the problem was gone entirely. No pain, no itchiness, no inflamed scalp - none of these issues existed anymore. I also tried several samples of their other shampoo/conditioners and was amazed to see an immediately improvement in the strength and overall health of my hair. I can wash my hair literally once, maybe twice a week with Davines and my hair looks and smells CLEAN. Thank you thank you thank you for such incredible products. I’ve never been more grateful towards a beauty company in my life!

This is the only product that has worked for my dandruff- I am so grateful, please always sell this! I was struggling so much with embarrassing flakes and terrible itchy scalp for YEARS until now. Wish I had found it earlier, and I would love to buy in larger container !

My hairstylist noticed I had dandruff… (I knew I did) lol so she washed my hair with this stuff and it was great… it was the first wash, so I wasn’t sure if it REALLY worked. At the end she sold me on it, and I started using it. It definitely made a difference, my dandruff was going away quickly. However, I recommend only using it once or twice a week. Pretty sure that’s what it says to do as well. If you overuse, it might cause oily hair or have the opposite effect and create more dandruff. You really have to lather and massage it into your scalp to get the full effect, so give it a try and don’t give up!

I can’t believe how small the bottle is for the price. It doesn’t lather AT ALL, so you have to use quite a lot of it. The smell starts out like sandalwood, then smells like perming solution, but leaves a hint of sulfur on the hair all day. They sent it with a very pleasant smelling conditioner packet that I was hoping would hide it. It didn’t.

It worked really well for my sebhorric dermatitis! but after awhile it made my scalp get oily more frequently so I had to shower from every 3 days to every single day. on the plus side, it was consistent with keeping the dermatitis away.. but i had to switch to rebalance my scalp again.

Believe me when I say I have tried everything and anything to eliminate my dandruff, and this has been THE ONE for me. So glad I gave it a try!!

Picked up at my local salon on a whim. It has truly been one of the best dandruff shampoos I’ve ever used. I love that it’s not a peppermint sent (goes better with the standard conditioners I use). I use about once a week and it eliminates my small flakes. Doesn’t make my hair as frizzy as other prods.

Two weeks of using this product as directed and I’ve already seen a vast improvement, no more itchiness of flakiness. Highly recommend for addressing those issues, and it leaves my hair in great condition and my color looking good as well.

It works and smells amazing. I have an autoimmune condition that comes with a variety of annoying symptoms, one of which is an itchy inflamed scalp. I’ve been using Davines Purifying shampoo for 12 years. It’s the only shampoo that makes my scalp feel normal. I fear a day when they discontinue it! They used to sell it in a liter container and I wish I could still buy it in bulk. People often ask what perfume I’m wearing and it’s become my signature scent.

I’ve been struggling with dandruff and itchy scalp for as long as I can remember and nothing has ever worked so effectively and as quickly as this product. After the 2nd time washing with it, my extreme scalp flare up was gone. I’ve seen other reviews about it smelling bad, but I don’t mind the scent at all. Compared to other chemical fume scented dandruff shampoos I’ve tried, this smells like flowers. HIGHLY recommend to anyone suffering with scalp issues, sebum build up, or just overall sensitivity. This shampoo is great for treating my seborrheic dermatitis wounds and dandruff. I have trouble finding a shampoo which doesn't cause redness on my forehead or hairline, and this is one of those rare shampoos for me. But it has one problem:After using this shampoo 2 times a week, for about three weeks, I start to notice that my scalp gets more oily. This may be great for dry scalp problem but my oily scalp gets more oily using this shampoo.I noticed this issue get s mentioned in some of the reviews on web too. So I think if Davines could add another product to this dandruff line, with a very similar formula(it's already a great formula) but targets for oily scalp, a shampoo which is able to treat oily scalp(in addition to treating dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis wounds) it would be perfect.

Please I need to return your products. Terrible. I took something for my oily scalp. It dried my ends. My scalp still oily itchy and falling a loooot.

Wow!! Honestly the best dandruff shampoo ive tried in my 27 years of life. I’ve struggled with oily/itchy scalp all my life. Miracle worker Couldn’t agree more with these 5 star reviews, so glad I found this product and so thankful for all the reviews that encouraged me to try it! I was having suffering from a really bad flake flare up and was trying everything under the sun. After ONE shampoo I noticed a huge difference, I’d say after the 2nd/3rd shampoo the flakes were completely gone. Here I am months later, completely flake free and my hair has never felt more healthy (which you know is hard to achieve with anti dandruff products if you’ve used them). If you’re suffering from dandruff/sebhoric dermatitis, I’d highly encourage you to try this shampoo, it’s a game changer!

HANDS DOWN--NO COMPETITION!!! I write this review as an African American Male, that has tried the true smorgasbord of products for not only hair dandruff but beard dandruff as well. I have only used this stuff ONCE, and it worked so well that I immediately bought the gel too. I tell you... No more hair dandruff or bead dandruff and my hair has never looked better and my scalf and skin underneath my beard looks and feels amazing! Also my hair has shine and looks super healthy. Where the hell have yall been my entire life. It feels so good to have my wife run her fingers through my beard and not see Flakes and scales falling out of my beard.. Trust me people... Best Dandruff Shampoo! I have tried multiple, different dandruff specific products: shampoos, oils, and sprays but none have worked. So much money down the drain. I have been using this for about three weeks now and I can say with complete confidence that it works so well! After just two washes, my scalp was oily and there was no noticeable dandruff. My scalp feels much healthier and is no longer irritable nor itchy. 10/10 would recommend. I’ll be sticking to this shampoo for the foreseeable future.

Love it The past several months I’ve been really struggling with scalp dryness and dandruff. The worst its ever been in my life. I tried several different approaches such as apple cider shampoos, coconut oil, tea tree oil and aloe. Some stuff helped but the dryness was not going away. I bought this two weeks ago and with just a few washes it’s completely turned around. I’m impressed and so thankful.

Answer to your prayers for seborrhea dermatitis ! TRY IT I was feeling so defeated for 2 years, my scalp was producing zero oil. Flakes covered my hair, and the integrity of my hair was going down hill. I tried so many products on the market, most extremely harsh or smelling terrible ( im looking at you T sal ) I started using this shampoo 2 times a week, and after about 4 weeks of use I started to notice OIL! My scalp is oily now and the flakes are far less. I rarely see flakes in my hair now. I cant even tell you how happy I am - please try this product if you're struggling with dermatitis on the scalp. I only wish I found this sooner. Thank you so much davines... seriously thank you!

Did the trick for my son's dandruff This works wonders for my teenage son. As he is getting older, his hair was exhibiting signs of dandruff. All the other products we tried, really stressed and dried out his scalp. This was amazing. Gentle and so effective. I love Davines and love that their products are pure. Thank you!!!!

The Best I Have Used I have a very dry scalp, most notably around my hair line. My dry flaky scalp was clearly visible. I have gone to a dermatologist in the past and the only thing that helped it was to apply some awful smelling scalp oil overnight. I have tried almost every scalp treatment under the sun, from high end brands, to store brands and nothing worked except the oil. Then I decided to try this product. It works wonders. My scalp is not flaking or itchy. The smell does not bother me at all. I would defiantly recommend.

Most effective dandruff shampoo Yes it smells weird. My husband and I have actually grown to like it, but I hated the smell for a while. I kept using it because after 1 wash the intense itching was gone. After a few more washes, the burning red patches and inflammation on my scalp were completely gone. I wash my hair every 2-3 days and after I calm down a flare up (2 uses) I only use this product every 2-3 washes. It doesn't lather well so use a different product on the length of your hair so you don't go wasting it. This stuff is incredibly effective and I wish I had found it much, much sooner.

Literally Nothing Else Fixes Dandruff Like this I suffer from absolutely terrible dandruff, have tried every market on the product for dandruff, and nothing works nearly as well as this does. I have such awful dandruff that it takes a couple washes, but When maintaining a normal scalp I use this once a week and it keeps up a hydrated scalp beautifully. Don't bother buying another product it won't work this one is the best!

Cures scalp with just one wash. I've used drugstore shampoos before and even tho they were advertised as anti-dandruff, none of them worked. I decided to give it a shot and buy this product and it worked like a charm. I also ordered oi conditioner along with this shampoo. I use them every 3 days. Healthy scalp, zero dandruff, zero flakes. Its such a perfect product. Smell is not that good but you'll get used to it.

AMAZING!! I have tried just about every shampoo out there including prescription shampoos and this is the only one that gets rid of my scalp inflammation and flaking! I’m so grateful I found this product and was able to eliminate so much discomfort and embarrassment. If this line ever stops being produced I will be HEARTBROKEN. Best shampoo for my dandruff! I have been dealing with dandruff for years now, and I have try many brands and nothing ever helped until I found this little guy. To be completely honest this shampoo is super hard to blended during showers so I only put it in In the areas that I get the dandruff and the rest of my hair I mix with the LOVE shampoo so I can get a cleaner wash. I started using it 2 times a week, after 2 weeks I only use this product once a week. Life saver!!!

smells terrible! I was having really bad dandruff recently and I thought one of Davines' products would work since I have been using this brand for a solid half a year now. Well I thought I'd give this a go and when I first used it I got turned off by the smell; it smells like sulfur and very chemically! Yuck! I wasn't sure if I got a bad batch or what, but I didn't even give it a second chance. I wash my hair every 3 nights so the smell of sulfur from the product lingered in my hair for a couple days and whenever I touched my hair, the odor would transfer to my hands and I just couldn't bear it. I called customer service for a refund/exchange and they were very accommodating and I was satisfied with their actions (hence at least 2 stars). Sorry, but as much as I love Davines, this product for me was no bueno!

Lots of product req for thicker hair It works, however, I have to use a ton of it in order for it to work. It doesn't get very foamy at all, so you really have to lather it well for a while into your scalp, foaming, definitely sucks. The smell is just awful, I have to use a conditioner that has a pleasant stong scent after this, because sure enough, it smells pretty bad.

only thing that works for me really love this! its honestly the only thing that works for me! i have such issues with excess oil AND dandruff. i have tried so many products that claim to help and it just doesnt do it for me! Davines is the only product i have found to work consistently.

Good for in between washings This shampoo is great for using in between washing. I have pretty severe scalp issues and I use this in between using the purifying gel and nourishing shampoo.

Great shampoo This shampoo is great for dry scalp and my hair. I wish it still was offered in the 1000 mL bottles.

Amazing Purifying Product First off, this shampoo smells amazing, as do many things in the Davines line. I used it twice a week for about two weeks and my hair feels so balanced after it, it'll be something I will continue to incorporate into my regular haircare routine.
