This Is A Strong Hairspray Humidity-defying hair spray

The hairspray is great but the experience is a nightmare. I ordered a hairspray. I had an email code for free shipping. For some unknown reason another order was entered with shipping of almost $18 shipping, I was willing to pay for the additional hairspray but not the shipping for the additional hairspray. BEST. HAIRSPRAY. EVER. I have short hair that I style every day. I use all davines products on my hair ... shampoo, conditioner, a little oi oil, mousse to style, a little wax to define, and then I spray it all over with my davines hairspray. Even though this is a strong hold, which it holds my style all day in all kinds of weather, not only does it smell heavenly, but it's a very fine mist and your hair doesn't become hard like other hairsprays will do. I can still run my hands through it. That isn't stiff or sticky. It is perfection in a can.

This is a Strong hair spray, holds very well. I have a lot of thin hair and this hairspray held my style all day. I have a layered haircut that needs a good hold. This also Smells very nice and not sticky at all. At the end of the night I could brush my hair before bed with no problem. I’ve tried many hairsprays and they just don’t hold or too stiff and sticky. This was none of those things. Highly recommend. It’s worth the price. Michelle PA

I like it! It smells really nice. I’m new to hairspray tho so not sure if the hold is as strong as other expect. Didn’t leave my hair feeling hard or slick at all. I think it gives the visual and texture effect that youre not even using hairspray, you’re hair is just naturally that bouncy

I love Davine Products! This hairspray provides a strong hold but is light and airy. My favorite shampoo and conditioner line is the OI products and the Soufflé adds a good amount of volume. The products last a long time too!

This was the first time I ordered from Davines direct. I always get my products from my salon. I love this hairspray and all Davines products but what I received was not the same product I have always used. It is a different spray nozzle and it is not a strong hold. I emailed earlier and the response I received was no help at all. Very disappointed with this order. .

The hairspray works well. But I don't care for the smell. I can still smell it in my hair hours later. I'd rather smell my perfume than my hairspray. Why haircare products insist on heavily scented products I'll never understand. That is what perfume is for! I don't need my haircare products competing with each other and my perfume. I love my other Davines products, but sadly this was a huge waste of money. I hope you will come out with an unscented version. I will not purchase this again.

My favorite hairspray!

This hairspray is the perfect finish to my short, textured style. It holds my spikes and swoops without feeling stiff or sticky and does not have an overpowering scent. It's also great if I need to refresh my look later in the day - I just lift or reshape where needed with my fingers and give it another light spray.

VERY disappointed. This hair spray DOES NOT hold up against humidity. I have wavy/curly hair. I straighten my bangs and need a hair spray that will keep them from losing their style when it's humid out. I normally wouldn't spend this much money on hair spray, however being it was Davines I thought it would be as good as their other products.

This is my favorite spray. The hold is good with feeling like I glued my hair to my scalp. And it smells wonderful.

My favorite hairspray. Strong, but you can still comb thru. Has a slight vanilla smell in my opinion. And everyone always asks what perfume I have on, as the smell alone is divine, and mixes so well with any perfume. Has a nice hold, but doesn’t seem to build up either. Rinses cleanly when you wash your hair. Their entire line is phenomenal!

This hairspray does bot make my hair stiff but hold my style all day… as long as it doesn’t rain or isn’t humid! Nothing helps with that though.

I was hoping this was like an older Davine's hairspray that was my favorite. The formula is okay but the fragrance is horrible. It is very vanilla gourmand that gives me a headache versus the fresh smell of the older formula. Unfortunately, I can't return it because it was opened and purchased on Amazon. I'm very disappointed.

I'm trying this hairspray to replace one that was discontinued. I find it has a very strong hold and at first I was spraying it too close to my head and it was hard to comb out. Now I spray hair from further away, it holds well, and I run my fingers through my hair to loosen up the hair before I brush or comb. It doesn't seem to leave residue so I do like that.

My hair is thin, very fine and with just a bit of a natural curl. This hairspray provides just the right amount of hold without weighing down or sticking the style. Yes, I love it.

No spray bought a new container and did not try it when my salon was i open. I tried to spray and nothing comes out. I do not know how to get the spray to come out > So frustrating !!

There's no way I can use my old hair spray again I don't use hair spray often, but when I do use it my goal is not to have crunchy hair or have my hair fall instantly. Over the years I've tested a variety of hair sprays, and finally I found this one. And I'm in love. For me it lasts all day, smells great and doesn't make my hair crunchy or dry. After years of loving this spray now disappointed I have been using this spray daily for 2-3 years and loved it! Right before I ordered it this time, I read many negative reviews , especially on the strong sweet scent now. I ignored them and ordered 3 cans. Wish I hadn't -- the scent is unpleasant and my hair feels dirty after one use.

However, I have to agree with the other reviewers. I did notice the change in the scent. It took me awhile to figure out why I kept smelling like cake batter. It's not a bad smell, but it is horribly sweet smelling...and it LINGERS all day. Not necessarily a deal breaker for me, but it is annoying. I've tried the other hair-sprays from Davines, and frankly, they just don't work as well for me. So, since I don't I feel like starting the search for a new hair-spray due to the reformulation at the present time, I will stick with this one for now.

The New Scent. I know you guys reformulate to produce quality products, but I really wish you'd find a way to capture the old scent. I agree with the previous poster when he or she stated that it was too sweet. I love this product but the sweetness of the smell is a bit bothersome.

Why did you change that lovely scent! I have been buying this spray for years at my salon. I was so surprised by the new scent! To me, it just smells awful! Too sweet and it lingers. Honestly, it smells like something you would buy at a drug store! Please bring back the old scent. From the reviews, it sounds as if plenty of customers don't like it either. Please help!
