I love this conditioner! It has made my hair super soft. I tried nounou after I first tried momo thinking nounou would be even better, however nounou really dried out my hair pretty bad! I would like to go back to momo conditioner.
This is my go-to conditioner. I love it. It is consistently good to my hair. I have curly, graying hair, and use this daily. I also love that the scent is both wonderful & not too strong. I would recommend.
I fried my hair doing an apple cider vinegar rinse…guess I didn’t add enough water to the vinegar mix, and one whole side of my head broke off about one inch from the scalp, that’s where the most damage was, and rest of my hair was dry, burnt, very damaged. My hairdresser recommended this conditioner, and I used it every night. This conditioner and frequent trims really got me through the horrible phase of growing the damage out. I’m still using it, and it’s remarkable. Very smoothing and moisturizing without weighing down my fine hair. Love it and will be repurchasing, and trying other Davies products.
Very enjoyable to use, smells amazing and helps to hydrate my dry hair.
Absolutely intoxicating fragrance, wow love. I don’t know what some other reviews are talking about criticizing the scent — I bought Momo shampoo & conditioner after my colorist used it post highlighting (she says it’s ultra moisturizing), specifically FOR the fragrance!! Now I alternate the combo of Momo with the Oi shampoo & conditioner which was my first Davines love.
My hair is thin, tangly, frizzy, dry (I live in the high desert of New Mexico, it’s often windy and the water is hard) and wavy with ringlets.
I have been obsessed with hair care since I was 12. In the pursuit of happy hair, I have spent thousands. I’ve tried so many disappointing products, even placed a huge order from Aveda only to hate every shampoo/conditioner I purchased.
My salon uses Davines. I get my hair cut about 4-6 times a year but had never experienced MOMO before.
My mom gave me a small bottle of the shampoo a year or so ago and I liked it just fine. Moisturizing without weighing my locks down. Cool.
But see, my partner LOVED it.
The smell, the packaging, the color, but especially loved how soft it made his hair.
He curls were even slightly more defined. Side note: I love how it smells on him.
He begged me to pick up the matching conditioner on my next salon visit.
His instincts were SO RIGHT. Upon first use, I noticed how a quarter sized amount worked through my then-color treated hair (I detangle with my fingers) was more than enough. I left it on for about two minutes and the craziest thing happened: I rinsed and my hair was still tangle free. I towel dried, still tangle free. I used a few drops of my favorite frizz serum, delighted by the lack of tangles. After my hair had fully dried my ringlets were in tact, soft, and bouncy. The fragrance lingered for a long while, probably because I don’t use heat styling Most importantly, though, the frizz halo I’ve grown accustomed to was barely there at all.
I’ve been fawning over this stuff ever since.
I want to try other Davines products (especially Nounou and the Love curl products) but I’m nervous I won’t like them as much.
Picture attached is from a photo shoot I did for a magazine three months ago.
That day I washed and air dried, with a touch of frizz serum, for a clear idea of my hair type.
This shampoo and conditioner is the best! It is very hydrating but leaves my hair with softness and volume and is not heavy at all.
I'm on my third tub -- cannot live without it. I should first note that I have processed, curly, low porosity hair which I somewhat regularly blow out. My hair has always looked good and quite healthy, but I didn't realize how much better it could be. It is *so* hydrating and I regularly receive compliments. If I have to go even one wash without this conditioner, the difference in my overall hair health is apparent, and it becomes a nightmare to style. This conditioner gives my hair such a lovely weight and smoothness when I use heat, and when I don't, my curls kickin'. You will never catch me without this product.
I love when my hairdresser uses this in my hair. I so wish they would offer it in a tube as I do not think the tub is practical for the shower or particularly hygienic. I would love to get some for myself but I will buy it only if that changes.
This product is amazing
Light conditioner that leaves my hair fresh and smelling great. I have fine hair and almost all conditioners leave my hair either heavy or fluffy. This is just right!! I will buy it again!
Agree with others find both difficult to open not marked clearly especially when in shower and conditioner is very hard to open but do like the product!
Horrible and Disappointing
I bought this shampoo and conditioner set after being convinced by my hairdresser about its incredible effects. To my great disappointment, this product left my hair feels pasty, clumped with product, and it made my hair knotty. I gave this product about a month of chances to work as my hairdresser said it would, and I cannot express how disappointed I am. It smells horrible, and I wish I had not purchased it, as it was a big expense for me. I would pick store-brand over this in a heartbeat.
Oi is more hydrating
I am surprised that this is a hydrating product. My hair felt like straw. I have medium to fine hair, but a good amount of it. I figured maybe it just wasn’t enough hydration for my specific hair so I gave it to my friend. She has very fine and thin hair. She said it weighed her hair down too much. The Oi products were way more hydrating.
The scent is soft and divine. My hair is very fine, thin, and long. This does not weigh it down, but manages to help with my serious frizz (prior bleaching left my hair very dry and damaged). It has silicones but I’m learning that they’re not the death of my hair. I love this.
Leaves my hair feeling greasy, like it won't wash out completely. Also please change the packaging.
I have very dry bleached hair, I’ve tried so many salon conditioners and masks and not a single one is a fabulous as momo conditioner. It smells incredible and After just 3 uses my hair feels like hair again, it’s soft and allot less brittle.
I only wish this came in larger sizes.
I adore the Momo shampoo & conditioner. The best I have ever used & I am picky. It leaves your hair so soft, shiny & smells wonderful!
I love this! I use it with the momo shampoo. I don't have to use alot. I have fine hair but a good amount of it. This did not weigh my hair down at all. With the shampoo I have had exceptional body, bounce and shine! I swim, and this gives my hair what it needs! Winner for me!
My daughter just moved from a dry climate to a humid one and switched from love to momo. Awesome product line!
I love this product to moisturize and conditioner my hair after using momo shampoo.. It smells terrific and adds shine and bounce to my long color treated dry hair.. I prefer it to the nounou, which is a nice product but momo excels.. Loving Davine products!
Momo was okay
I liked nouno better than momo. Sometimes its better not to require adding additional words
Hair & mind therapy
I use this product everyday to condition my curly hair. The smell when I open the container is enough to turn my day around. It is that lovely. I've tried many conditioners, but this one is consistently the one I come back to.
The conditioner may be great but the container is really difficult to open and very awkward to use. I tried to pour it into a squeeze bottle but too thick to pour. Don't want to waste any because it is so expensive but wondering if that is the point of the badly designed container.
it's a good product but horrible packaging!!!
I would like to continue using this product but thinking about the packaging it makes me doubt to order it again, the packaging is not useful or easy to use and much less fast, it would be great if they changed the packaging at the request of all their customers who already requested it !
I love all things Davines! Need to say the I love the packaging of conditioners. It's easy to get the last bit and I don't have to squeeze a bottle, which can be difficult with aging hands. Please keep packaging as is!
Momo is good for my hair and the environment.
I love Momo shampoo and conditioner. My hair has never felt better (soft and manageable). I have gray hair and it is hard to manage but Momo solves the problem. I also love the fact it has natural ingredients in it.
Best conditioner for dry hair!!
I will admit, the packaging isn't the best, but OMG the product is amazing!! Its a dry hair saviour, especially in extremely dry/cold winters. Would 100% recommend this product for people who have super dry hair.
Love, but please change packaging.
Davines shampoos and conditioner are perfect for my colored long hair. They provide enough moisture without weighing it down. They work in hard and soft water. I have been using it for years! I just wish the conditi. oner came in packaging that I could pack for travel. It is inconvenient to have to spoon it into a travel bottle.
Nice for my beach hair!
I used this in Hawaii after spending day at the beach. It smoothed out my frizzies and made my hair healthy feeling and shiny again1
Great for the environment! And good for my hair!
I wash my hair once a week... Momo is great for my hair! And my hair looks good!
My dryish curly hair loves the MOMO Shampoo and conditioner! It moisturizes without being too heavy, and has a nice light smell that goes away after my hair dries (yuck to overly strong fragrances!) Please never change them!!!
Love this! It makes my hair smell amazing and makes it super soft. Only conditioner of Davines i have ever used so I cannot compare to others.
Excellent product; terrible packaging
I love the product. My hair is fine and colored. The conditioner adds shine, prevents drying and keeps my hair buoyant. Unfortunately, I will not be a repeat purchaser because the packaging is so poor. Wish it came in a squeeze bottle rather than having to scoop out product. The primary, reason, that has turned me off is the fact that the container lid is impossible to open. I broke 2 fingernails trying to pry it off. Now I keep a screw driver handy. It's the only "tool" I've found that allows me to pry off the lid. A real shame that lousy packaging prevails and will keep me from repurchasing a super conditioner.
