This is a Volume Boosting Mousse Volumizing Hair Mousse

Desperate for a haircut in a far-from-home city, a stylist used this product and I was impressed enough to buy a bottle of the Volume Boosting Mousse despite a solid history of never being able to reproduce anything a professional stylist has done with my hair. While I admit I still can't recreate the style, the VOLUME is there! I have The Finest, Straightest hair in history. I can towel my hair, apply even this mousse, let my hair air dry in an uncombed snarl on the top of my head and when I run a comb through it, it falls completely straight - no frizz, no wave, no curl, it just clings to the sides of my skull like seaweed. HOWEVER, WITH the mousse, when I curl it, it stays curled! And it doesn't just hang lankly, but has, well, Volume! Yet it is soft, never sticky, with very natural movement AND if there is any fragrance, it is super subtle. I seriously have had so many compliments about "my new style" -- "you look 10 years younger," "love your hair these days!" "I've been meaning to tell you how great your hair looks!" -- and this mousse is the ONLY difference! Since it can be hard to find in retail, I just mail-ordered what should be a year's worth -- that's how addicted I have become. Good Stuff!

Really like the volume it gives my hair

I’ve been using this styling product for years and always loved it, even though the scent was on the stronger side — it used to fade eventually. Sadly, the new version has an even more intense and cloyingly sweet fragrance that doesn’t wear off at all. I really wish you had gone with a lighter or unscented option instead. Hoping you reconsider this change.

This mousse is lightweight and gives my hair volume without it feeling crunchy. If it were more affordable, I would use it after each hair wash. Smells great too!

The scent is like a percume. It smells veeerrdyy good! And it does do a great job with texture!

This is too heavy for fine hair.

It’s a nice hold, smells great and doesn’t leave a weird residue and stickiness that other brands leave in mousse.

I've been using this mousse for several years and love it. Great styling ability and volume, without the heaviness or stickiness of other products. Would definitely recommend.

You need to fix the nozzle. The first one I received was broken. You did send a replacement. However although it arrived intact, it is ackward to use. Otherwise I love the product. My salon uses it. I love the smell and the volume it gives to my hair. However please work on the delivery system.

When I received this in the mail, the top/ nozzle was off, not attached to the mousse container. Thought is was on purpose. I tired to put the top/nozzle back on to use, and it failed. I couldn't get the mousse to come out very well. I still did my best and put the mousse on my hair. It didn't really impress me. I was disappointed. Perhaps it was because the mousse didnt come out of the container properly? Next hair wash I used the curl serum and mousse, and it held the curl/wave better. I will explore other products and not purchase this again.

Great experience ! Wish the Moouse smelled more like OI and what about a cologne that smell like OI. I love the smell! Just doesn’t last long enough. The shine and feel of my hair is amazing! What is the smell from? Yummy!’ Cheryl

Love the product but after two failed attempts at mailing without damage...I doubt i will try to order again. Both times the nozzel was not intact

I absolutely love how wonderful this mousse makes my hair feel. It makes hair silky, smooth, and with way less frizz.

I used this before diffusing and finished with Oi oil and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I have lots of long fine hair and this defines my loose curls in a very natural looking way.

Does nothing for my fine, soft hair. It actually made it softer and more flat. Very disappointed, especially considering the price.

Good product but dispenser top is flimsy and bad. Mine was completely unhinged at purchase - I have to hold vertically and press down to get foam. Try to make the dispenser like Aveda Phomollient and it’ll be perfect.

This is an amazing product. Just enough hold for my curls to last for day, but not so much gold that it’s crunchy. Also, plug for customer service; they’re on it and super easy to work with!

One of my favorite products ever! My hair is a fine texture but dense, and can get rather poofy/frizzy on the ends. This mousse gives my hair volume and just a little bit of control that’s needed to keep it manageable. The end result is weightless, bouncy, silky and not product-y feeling at all!

This is the best mousse I have ever come across. Leaves my hair in a soft styling condition and holds my style. I received my product from my hairdresser and will continue to purchase it.

Once you get past the horrible strong floral smell, the product is excellent. I have fine hair and this mousse adds a lot of volume. I just have to hold my breath- it is that strong! I would be hooked on it if there was an I scented or mildly scented version.

Love this product! Ordered via website, when it shipped the top was off and now I have difficulty getting the product out of container.

I love this product. I have straight, silky hair which tends to be fly-away and sometimes frizzy. This mousse gives my hair some nice volume without making it sticky. I put a little Oi oil on my ends, and I'm good to go. This combination does a really nice job on the frizz. I'd also like to give a shout out to Michael in Customer Service. He was very helpful when I reached out this past fall. Thank you Michael!

I take away 1 star for the amodimethicone in the ingredients. However, from time to time I can live with that. Overall it is a good products. You cannot feel any residues in the hair and it does boost volume a lot. It needs heat to activate and sometimes does not react well (makes crunches) with thermal protective sprays.

Davines volume boosting mousse is the best I've ever used. It's not heavy and my hair definitely looks fuller and holds a style. I will be ordering this product again!

Good product & great customer service I like the scent of this mousse. It’s also not greasy or heavy. The best though is the customer service. I sent them a picture showing broken lid/cover of the nozzle upon receipt. They sent me a replacement right away. I love Davines product though it’s on the pricey side. But I feel like I’m getting what I’m paying for. And with their great customer service, I’ll definitely be ordering more.

the nozzle broke When I can get it out it is great . I see I am not the only one as many people have the same issue on Amazon ...Plus there is no complaints department and no way to return .. Im sure you wont post this but if Davines read this feel free to contact me.

Not very amazing I've used this for about 3 weeks now, and it doesn't seem to boost volume at all. It's less than average, especially for the price.

This Is A Fabulous Mousse I was introduced to this Mousse by my hairdresser. It's the second time I have purchased it. The scent is Amazing, gives a nice volume to my fine hair, and the container is Beautiful! Great Product And Well Worth The Price!!!

Best volume boosting mousse I've ever used Best volume boosting mousse I've ever used (And that's a lot)!! I have very thin hair that likes to go limp at the roots and poof out on the ends. This helps to balance everything out.

I love this product I do not have to use every day, because since I began using Davines, My hair does not get the greasy look or feel that other products give. Smells wonderful.

Love the scent and how light this product is! I like this mousse, but I am not impressed with the volume it produces. It blows out nice with no stiff or starchy feel and the scent is very nice.

Incredible de-frizzer too I have tried hundreds of products over the years and never found anything that really eliminated frizz. I have fine, wavy, dry hair. This stuff is amazing. Down side is dispenser nozzle breaks almost instantly, and product eventually turns to liquid, not mousse. Still, worth it!
