Very unimpressive; this is the first Davines product I have tried which has been extremely disappointing in performance. When used in hair, it creates a greasy residue immediately. Cannot recommend.

For hair, I apply it as a mask the night before a shower on my scalp and all of my hair. For my body, I apply after I lotion to lock the moisture in and add shine. My face also enjoys the oil and decreases winter flaking.

Very disappointing. After using the absolute barest amount on finger tips to work all over my scalp it made all of my hair intensely greasy and unattractive, and my scalp felt irritated. I couldn’t have used a smaller amount. I tried some on my skin. No irritation, but the smell was akin to lemon kitchen cleaner—not an uplifting, playful citrus like the other Davines products that smell sweet and nearly edible, but an overwhelming, hard lemon, and almost like natural bug spray. Can’t imagine how others are putting it on their faces to remove makeup!
Customer service was very helpful with my return and I appreciate that.

I use on the ends of my hair and it’s made it so much healthier! I’ve also used it on dry patches of skin w healing results. After reading some of the comments here, I’m planning to try it out as a make up remover as well

I use the Davines Authentic Nourishing Oil to remove my foundation makeup, and my face is left clean and moisturized with this wonderful product. The scent is delightful and the oil is not greasy or dense. In dry or cold winter weather, I smooth a small amount on my face after cleansing, and it always absorbs quickly and well. I have extremely sensitive skin, and this product is now a big favorite of mine.

I received this as a gift and I cannot believe how great it works. I used it in my hair, and it would accentuate my curls without all the extra oily feeling. After I ran out my husband got me all these professional products that were supposed to be "better" but here I am, about to buy some more Davines. Don't tell my husband! Never want to run out again.
