I had high hopes for this product as I've loved Liquid Spell and Oi Souffle was marketed towards my fine hair type. Unfortunately I get no to little payoff from it and it makes my ends extremely tangled even with careful styling/blow drying - I experimented with using different amounts, conditioning vs. not conditioning before, different levels of dry/dampness when I applied then styled, and every other thing I could think of. It's also disappointing for a heat protectant to not be recommended for use near the roots/scalp, so I have to use a second product to protect my already thinning hair. I'll stick to Liquid Spell in the future!

My first impression of this mousse went pretty well. I used 3 pumps while hair was still slightly damp. It was easy to brush through while blow drying and did give some volume and some. There is no crunch, white residue, or any issues that I had except one. It still didn't take long for my hair to be flatter than a pancake again. No matter the brushing, hair flipping, etc. Still worked better than most that I've tried. Complimentary from brand.

So far i have used it several times and has noticed that this product is indeed very lightweight. I have a thin and fine hair so when i say that A LOT of products do make my hair greasy, weight it down or make it frizzy- i really mean it. This foamy oil on the other hand, doesn’t feel heavy, it is light and airy on the hair, no sticky! Did i notice any increase of volume? Not really. But perhaps i will try to blow dry my hair, so far i only let it dry by itself. I did notice that hair is much much softer and shiny!
