If you are at all sensitive to smells, you won’t like this. The product itself seems nice but I can’t passed the smell as I am very sensitive to artificial scents. The smell that lingers after you rinse is quite strong and I believe I got a headache from smelling it all night. Unfortunately I just wouldn’t be able to know without trying it since I bought it online but I with they had an unscented option.

I have quite a bit of color treated fine but pretty healthy hair. I saved for a couple of months to purchase both Minu and Momo for myself as a birthday present. I really did a lot of research, watched videos, and talked to the chat box on the Davines site a number of times trying to make sure that Minu would be right for me. Unfortunately, my hair felt absolutely awful after using Minu. I was really surprised with just how bad it felt- very much like straw/glass, did not feel moisturized, difficult to brush, etc. It was also harder to style and didn’t feel “right” again until my next wash. I wanted it to work so much and it was a little heartbreaking to have made the investment for no reason.

I love minu shampoo and conditioner! I have fine hair that’s colored and the minu products have made a huge difference! My hair is now soft and shiny all the time and not just when my stylist does it. He was the one that used these products in the salon on my hair. But using this stuff at home too has just been a game changer. My hair looks great and is soft and shiny all the time now. I even like the way it smells. My husband noticed the difference. People at work noticed the difference. My hair has never looked better! Thank you Davines!!! (But, the reviews are true about the packaging. You really could package them better especially the conditioner.)

I love the Minu shampoo. I think I love it more than Oi. After trying a sample, I ordered a full size bottle. My hair is super shiny and I can go a day between washing. I used to wash every day until I started using Davines. Also, I always wash my hair twice. First, with a drug store shampoo because I need my sulfates and then I normally follow up with Minu. If I don't use the drug store shampoo, Minu barely leathers the first time, and with the price, I choose to use something else first. I've also noticed that I lose more hair when shampoos don't contain sulfates. Just my hair and scalp. Anyhow, Minu brought my curls and waves back. My hair has volume and shine. I follow up with the luxurious Minu hair mask. I normally don't blow dry my hair after Minu. Instead I use the Oi milk and curl serum and my hair looks so cute, curly and voluminous. I've also noticed that I don't have any frizz after using Davines products, and I live in a very humid city. Minu doesn't dry out my hair either. Will definitely repurchase.

MINU feels nice and is okay, but I have fine, highlighted hair and it just doesn't soften it enough. I have used the OI oil and that does help, but honestly the OI shampoo and conditioner work better for my hair. In fact, OI leaves my fine (but thick) hair feeling moisturized without being weighed down at all. The MINU shampoo and conditioner left it feeling flat.

I use the Minu shampoo and conditioner. I am not sure how they would work independently or if one is better than the other because I always use both together. My hair feel soft and I have noticed that my color is lasting longer/stays looking good until my next appointment. The packaging is terrible however and I have broken two nails and chipped many more trying to get the shampoo bottle open while in a wet slippery shower. Wish they offered a pump or built in squeeze bottle version where you didn’t have to fuss with flipping the lid open.

Religiously loyal will never switch
Got a sample in my Birchbox never went back. I have a very fine hair that gets dirty and greasy very fast this truly cleanse my hair and keeps it cleaner longer My hair feels light and soft and smells wonderful and I am very partial to smells it does not dry my hair personally and I have very fine color treated fragile hair. I also use a conditioning mask from Davine‘s with this and I do wash my hair every day to give it a break and that method works great for me. I have turned on many friends to this company especially MINU I have tried their other products and I like them but this shampoo for me is the best!!

Super drying...
I recently had a stylist apply several davines products which prompted me to get some new shampoo and conditioner alongside the all in one milk and shine spray. I thought this would be a great compliment to my new highlights, but alas, it made my hair incredibly dry and strawlike. Will be trying a different shampoo with more hope...should have read reviews first. :(

Overpriced for Harsh and Damaging Product
The MINU Shampoo along with the NOUNOU Conditioner was recommended for my hair condition and goals, by their customer support. Let me insert here that their customer support is a hit or miss in terms of response in both timeliness and effectiveness. For example, it has been over a month since I requested a return and I have yet to be helped. What is the point of products about which some rave, if the company does not hold up on their return policy as well as customer service? Well in this case, the products don't even work (my personal experience of course) so it's insult to injury. Further, I had to go to a dermatologist because this and/or the NOUNOU rendered my hair drier and my scalp tender pink with a dry, itchy burn and huge flakes of skin falling out. Perhaps it's all the SLS, sulfates, alcohol etc.
If Davines would just be an honest company and provide an easy return policy it would help in the least that this entire experience was an utter fail. I will inform the public as necessary, to stay away altogether.

Gives me really dry hair
I really love Minu for its color-protection. It keeps my dyed bright red hair bright. But alas, it is leaves my hair feeling extremely dried out if I use it to wash my hair for even a few months. And I only wash my hair twice a week. So it is back to Love shampoo which is much better for the health of my hair.

Great for fine hair
I love everything I have tried from davines. This is no exception. Scent is great. Hair color and texture is better than ever. I used this and it’s conditioner along with OI milk and it’s a great combination for my fine, color treated hair. Wish I had found this brand a long time ago. I have been using for 2 months and can already tell a huge difference from the expensive US brands I always used. As soon as I started using davines products I immediately gave away all my Living Proof, Alterna and Pureology products and my long search for the perfect hair product is finally done.

Rich but not too heavy
I was looking for something to revive my hair after a couple of rounds of balyage that left it feeling dry. My sister is a loyal Davines user and I am so glad I took her suggestion to try it! So far so good in terms of protecting color and I have already seen an improvement in the softness and texture of my hair. It feels rich and lathers up nicely, and when rinsed out there isn't an oily or heavy residue at all. Love it!

I got this shampoo as part of a holiday set along with the conditioner. I color my hair and recently I ran out so I used just what I had on hand. I could really tell a difference in my color, it looked dull, no shine and no dimension. This shampoo claims to be illuminating and I think it definitely lives up to those claims!!!

Great shampoo for fine, colored-treated hair
With my fine hair, and not tons of it, it's hard for me to find products that's light enough without weighing it down. It's a plus that Minu shampoo and conditioner protects colored-treated as well! Although my hair salon has been selling Davines products for years, I never considered it until a sample arrived in my monthly Birchbox of surprises and I loved it. This was my first time purchasing minu shampoo and I am obsessed! Best hair product for my recent blonde coloured hair. Ive been looking for a hair product that leaves my hair shiny, healthy looking, and helps my hair growth. This shampoo does all three and more! No what I expected
i was using this shampoo for about a month now 3 times a week. I like the smell but it does not react with my hair at all. My hair was always frizzy . I now went back to my regular shampoo. My hair is back to being calm. I had really wanted to like this as it came so highly recommend.

My salon started carrying Davines products I have difficulty with other products and this really works for me .. I purchased several different products .. I use Minu shampoo and conditioner.. I love it.. It has a nice smell, my hair looks amazing and my color continues to look great. It is a win win for me. At 52 years old with course somewhat "lion mane" hair... this product does everything I want in a good shampoo and conditioner. Minu comes in travel size as well, so when I am traveling it is perfect. I picked up both! I highly recommend Davines products.

This is my new favorite shampoo ever since my hair grew back after 3 rounds of chemo due to colon cancer. I now have white white hair and it just glows since using Minu shampoo. I suds my hair and leave it that way while showering the rest of my body and then rinse all at one time. It just makes my hair glow.

Minu Shampoo restores and shines! Simply amazing!
I am a half Asian female with naturally black hair. Long story short I have been coloring my hair red/blonde/brunette with highlights for the past 34 years. I have always used high quality products that my stylist recommended like Alterna, Bumble and Bumble, and others. They have helped keep the coloring damage down but it seemed to be getting very dry with split ends espcially after I turned 55. My sister's (very bluntly) told me last year that my hair was looking very bad!! My stylist changed salons to one that uses your products exclusively. I thought I was pretty product savvy but I had never heard of Davines. My stylist picked out Minu shampoo for me and Nou Nou conditioner in a tub. First I couldn't beleive how long an 8 oz shampoo lasted me. You only need a little bit and my hair is fairly long. Second my sister's and others told me after about six months of use how my hair looked healthy again. They were walking behind me and they said it was the best they had seen in years! Unbelievable comments I get now! I'll take all I can get! I also don't need to wash my hair as often as I used to. I am SO happy to have found your products. Also I was a rep in the beauty/perfume industry for 23 years and became fragrance sensitive and your products do not bother me. Thank you!!!

The conditioner is packaged in a very difficult container. I have a manicure and getting that lid off has damaged them. New packaging is required. I do not know if
going to re-order. Just is not what I expected sorry. I have been searching for a new product and reason for ordering yours.
