I love this! Been previously using other salon grade shampoos like Kerastase & Oribe while those work for my lengths it didn't allow me go without several days of wash without my scalp and hair near my scalp looking greasy. This Davines shampoo cleansed my scalp and I've noticed reduced hair fall from showering with it.

Been washing my hair every other day forever. I have curly hair so I need the moisture but my roots are oily. My hairdresser suggested this to me. Loving it. Gives me an extra day and my hair is not dried out and frizzy.

I love love love the rebalancing shampoo. It’s the only shampoo I have found that doesn’t leave a nasty residue on my hair and I love the ingredients are all so good.

This is actually the worst shampoo I have ever used. I got the small OI shampoo and conditioner as a gift and loved it so I figured I would bug more from this brand and try this shampoo as its meant for oily scalp. I gave this shampoo a try for a week. When I washed my hair with this shampoo and I would loose so much hair and no amount of conditioner could help give the moisture back. The results were hair loss, flaky, itchy scalp, and hair that was more oily than with other shampoo. I am in my mid 30s with long, straight, thinner, oily hair. I threw the shampoo in the trash and am headed to the hair dresser to trim at least 2 inches off the bottom of my hair due to damaged ends.
In short, I would not recommend this shampoo to anyone.

Please bring back the old formula! I was so confused when I opened the new bottle and it smelled different and lathered different. The old formula is the only shampoo I’ve found to work for my oily hair after years of experimenting and searching.

I was surprised to see the bad reviews, I love this shampoo. I’ve always used detox shampoos, and obviously they did clean my hair, but it would still get extremely oily very quickly since I’ve started using this. I follow directions I’ve seen on other sides where it says to leave it on for a few minutes or actually I believe it’s on the bottle that it says that and so I leave it like four or five minutes and let it sit on my scalp and I absolutely noticed a difference in how long my hair can go before I have to wash it.

It pains me to write this review as I have been using this shampoo for a while now. As an oily hair girlie I have spent my life searching for a shampoo that actually helps tame the oil. I was so excited when I found this one because it really worked! I went from washing daily to washing every 2-3 days. Now the bad news.. on my last bottle I've noticed that my hair gets oily within 24 hours. Something has definitely changed with the formula and I'm so disappointed. I'm back on the hunt for a shampoo that works for me, but sadly I won't be purchasing from Davines again. To the team, PLEASE go back to what you had before, even if it means raising the price. I would happily pay more to have that old product back.

I normally LOVE Davines products (seriously like the only products I use) but this one didn’t work with the build up, and instead gave me dandruff. Everyone’s scalp/hair is different! I’m medium (not too thin not too thick) with long wavy ish hair and this did not work for me.

This didn't work for me at all. I used it once and it made my hair so much worse--heavy and greasy and I would have taken another shower if I had time. It was recommended to me by customer service, so I contacted them a week and a half ago about exchanging. Contacted them again several days ago and still haven't heard back. Frustrating after spending almost $40 on a small bottle of shampoo.

This has been reformulated and it does not work anymore :( I've been using this for the last 10 years or so and it used to clean my hair and keep the oil at bay but not anymore. They removed sodium chloride, eugenol, gernaniol, linalool, cinnamal, citronellol and added sodium methyl isethionate, lauric acid, limonene and citral. Do not buy this if you require oil control. I will no longer purchase this product.

I loved this shampoo when I bought it before!! It cleaned my hair perfectly and had a darker color to it. This bottle I just purchased though, feels as though it’s a new formula. It feels it doesn’t clean my hair as well, it’s lighter in color and a little more watery in texture. Maybe I got a bad bottle? But, not what I expected after my first perfect bottle unfortunately.

I tried this shampoo for the very first time at a hair salon while on vacation in the Dominican Republic. From there on I ordered a bottle once I came home and noticed my hair felt and look healthier. I love this product and I highly recommended if you are dealing with itchy scalp/greasy hair .

I've struggled to find a shampoo that doesn't dry out my scalp and cause flaky, itchy discomfort. This is the first one I've found that's a very gentle cleanse. My scalp loves this shampoo. Although my hair does still get oily a day later (I generally have to wash my hair every day or every other day), *sigh* I'd recommend this for itchy, dry scalps instead of oily scalps. I do wish they'd sell it in a bigger size, as I have to use quite a bit of this shampoo to properly cleanse my entire head. So just be aware that you'll probably have to use a decent amount if you have thicker hair.

Definitely the best shampoo I’ve tried for an oily scalp, on my 2nd bottle right now. Does have a medicine type of smell but I actually love it. Have in mind that it’s a pretty small bottle but worth it.

Best formula for my oily scalp and dry ends
This is the first shampoo I’ve used that’s managed to control my oily roots and not dry out the ends of my hair. I use the product primarily on my scalp. My only concern is the scent. I have a strong sense of smell, and while the scent is pleasant at first, it’s pretty heavy- it’s a sweet flowery smell mixed with a cinnamon scent. I prefer that products have less scent because everyone has different preferences. It’s almost overwhelming to the point that I don’t want to use the product. Otherwise, it’s the most effective product I’ve used and I’ll confuse to use it.

My daughter has psoriasis, and struggles with finding a shampoo that keeps her hair healthy as well as her scalp. The real issue is finding a shampoo that doesn't create build up over time. This shampoo has been great, and she's been using it for 2 months now.

My daughter has super oily hair (aah, puberty) and this shampoo works very well. It has a tea tree oil sort of scent, somewhat medicinal but in a good way :-) She still has to wash her hair at least every other day (dry shampoo in between) but it's effective throughout the day. Answered questions on behalf of my daughter.
