pineappling their hair at least once, and this is especially true for anyone with tighter curls! This method of loosely securing your hair into a top knot or ponytail (resembling the shape of a pineapple) before bed will keep your curls pretty through the night and maintain healthy hair. Pineappling prevents the frizz, knots and flattened spirals that come with lying on a pillow.
PROS:Not only is this a simple hair tutorial, it also often looks cute on it’s own as a hairstyle! So if you’re someone who likes to sleep in, this is a smart way to jump out of bed and start the day without much effort.
CONS: If you tie the ponytail too tightly, you could wake up with indents in your hair. And don’t just yank it out in the morning, which can also ruin the style: gently fluff your curls with your fingertips when taking the hair band or scrunchie out.
